Producers Realizing Conservation Vision with Continued NRCS Support
Dewlson Family Farm is nestled in the rolling hills outside of Santa Maria in Santa Barbara County. In the last eight years, owners Ron Dewey and Judy Paulson have transformed the land's physical challenges into a stewardship example with the help of the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
Ron and Judy found out about NRCS from a flyer and enlisted the service to develop their first partnered project, and their most significant. Using the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, Dewlson Family Farms was able to create a grass way for runoff that eased some of the property's erosion challenges and provided more land for the operation to produce lemons, coffee, and tea.

Assistance programs are helping nut producers around the state reach their dust reduction goals. Kern County producer Bret Sill with Sill Properties said taking advantage of programs that help growers transition to newer, low-dust equipment is a ‘no brainer’. Sill traded in one harvester a few years ago, and the deal was so good they decided to do it again. Retailers like Kern Machinery where S...

High Tunnel Helping Small Growers Year-round
Просмотров 2106 лет назад
High tunnels, also known as hoop houses, extend growing seasons for small producers. Growers like Racha Her of Beyond Bokchoy Farm in Fresno have been using conventional hoop houses for many years, but the construction is complicated and unstable under inclement weather. The California Natural Resources Conservation Service has invested $4.4 million from the 2014 Farm Bill into sturdier high tu...

How much does it cost? Well...we sell them all over the country. 2024 prices for an 89' x 9' bridge is $30K. We stock them all over the country so delivery is usually about $5K. Pre-cast abutments are about $20K, depending on soils. Helical abutments, our preferred method, is about $40K. Installation usually runs anywhere from $25K to $45K depending on complexity. Getting two Cat 330 excavators will install it for less money than a crane. We can load certify railcar bridges in 25 states including CA, NY, and TX. Excellent video!
Thanks too much but I have a little trouble of how to redesign (make) this type of automated machine as a 100% homemade without sending any spare parts: just using technology transfert through the internet. Many thanks for your assistance and support. God bless our soils, machinery & manufactures.
Hi what is this system?
How about something much smaller than a tractor
That’s pretty cool
How can buy this machine?
How i get these plants in india ... Kindky guide the full process

nice video thanks for posting

Excellent
is it the plastic holder holding the shrubs
I hope you guys are adding nitrogen and microbes to those wood chips or else the organic matter will not break down effectively and cause nutrient lock.
What is the name of this plant architecture .it pattern is hagerow or other name.
How much distance between row to row and plant to plant
ruclips.net/video/2OQzWfGOYn4/видео.html
The main thing is to get the abutments located at where the bolsters used to be. I've seen the results of where they placed them out at the very end of the rail car and the bridge, when overloaded, folded like a taco. This looks like it was done right and if he's only running cattle and trucks across the bridge, it will be there forever. I se the weight limit posted, which is another great idea.
Correct. Abutments are usually placed at the body bolster. We can push abutments back but that requires additional reinforcement. The top and bottom of the center sill usually would require reinforcement.
the plastics are also with seedlings... it has problem?
There you go.Love 💘 this so cool.
Looks good
This is the great video to show; I want to buy this paper germinating trays, where can I buy this? Thanks,
I am going to ask the same thing that Leland asked. What was the overall cost? Thanks!
2024 prices for the deck is $30K. Pre-Bidenomics was $22K.
Where did you use it in Spain?
How do you insert the seeds to the plugs in the first place?
So how much did it cost in the end, before deducting the financial aid?
2024 prices for the deck is $30K. Pre-Bidenomics was $22K.
It’s so efficient
I like that it puts the organic matter into the soil but if those trees have a disease your just put the disease back into the soil for the next crop of trees.
be better to tub grind then compost to kill pathogens prior to incorporating it into the soil
How long was this in greenhouse? How do you keep the lettuce from bolting? I am trying to plant Napa cabbage in early spring using this method.
Thanks to all involved for helping to save our birds!
Thank you Diamond J Dairy for protecting these birds!

great video...redo your audio and leave out all the "valley girl" question marks at the ends of your sentences...sounds ridiculous in a grown man...
