Your discussion on ghost guns reminded me of a Vice video on RUclips I saw about 3d printed guns. If you search for 'I 3D-Printed a Glock to See How Far Homemade Guns Have Come' you can find it. It would make for a good plot point (although the guns are a bit iffy in the real world). Why does the serial number matter? It seems like serial number is only going to track back to the original owner, which I bet most of the time is not the current owner. I always had an idea in my head that my antagonist would buy a gun, and then order a spare barrel and hammer. Then use the spare for the murder, take it out and have a grinder or belt sander in their garage that could grind both to dust. When the police seize the gun, it would not match the bullet, and they are no longer a suspect. And they get their gun back! What do you think, would that work? Have you started writing your book? Love to hear more about that! Chris
Great cast, Adam!
Thank you, Kem! Happy New Year!
Awesome info! Thanks, Adam.
Thank you, Joan! Happy New Year!
Teletype machine ... yep I certainly remember the teletype
Brady List is very interesting and sounds like based on the Brady List , Kamala Harris and her prosecutors should have gotten into a lot of trouble for withholding vital evidence proving the Innocence of a black man in Compton who was falsely accused of murdering his best friend . His last name was Trulove and there's actually a piece about this on Vice Channel . He was supposed to serve 48 yrs. but was found not guilty due to the hard work of the Innocence Project ... he still lost too many years in prison for a crime he never committed . He sued and was awarded $14 Million .
Interesting about what fusion centers are .
This is such a great Channel and you don't have to be writer to learn from . For whatever reason obviously RUclips is not circulating these videos around . It seems they want us to look at stupid dumbed down things . It would be great if RUclips would just start sending some of the shorts around randomly

Very knowledgeable
A lot of really incredible information in here ... wow .
Sounds like you could do a whole podcast on Brady list if there's a lot of innocent cops being put on it ... wow this could be really problematic and a real nasty way to shut up good honest cops .
And had I realized this I never would have wasted my time a little while ago writing something very long and in a number of comments on another vid .
So I guess he will never answer a question that somebody puts here on the tube and that's really a shame . Not everybody wants to have to email a question and I can't stand email myself but really love the convenience of RUclips comments and replies
Cops and writers interactive camp ... very interesting
My other comment vanished but yes I think you will help a lot of people get unstuck and a lot of them do end up in that quagmire over such details and I have been one of them . Thank you for the advice
So what you said here were real words of wisdom and I hope more people will hear what you have to say because you are right about that
And you're going to help a lot of people get unstuck ... some people really do end up in the quagmire over such things and I think I've been one of them .
I really like that a lot that was very good😂
Also very nice of you to give a shout out to your mentor
I wish you could have explained just a little bit more about the book and what's in it and why it's a great read ... ... sort of like a mini review
Squeaks on your teeth like Styrofoam ? Wow 😂 Despite that it does sound tasty and I'll have to try to buy some
Some of the things a friend of mine told me tonight about her neighbor had me believing he actually got away with possibly slowly killing his wife . I think it's possible he may have given her something over time that poisoned her kidneys . Supposedly at one point she was drinking every day , putting Baileys Irish Cream in her coffee each time she had coffee and then drinking a lot of beer at night . .. but I don't even know if my friend was actually a witness to this ... or if that's what the husband told my friend . and I don't know if this is true or if the husband lied but supposedly she did not tell her husband , her friends , her relatives ... no one , she supposedly told no one that she had been diagnosed with some kind of kidney problem ... the year before I never said peep to anyone about it ... but at this point I still don't know if this is all just what the husband was telling everyone . So what my friend saw was that one of her best friends became ill very quickly and was unresponsive in bed and taken to the ER and spent two weeks in the ICU and then 9 days in hospice before she passed away . Something told me to keep asking my friend , Jane questions and digging ... and the more I did , the more everything came out where my friend kept telling me I was accurate .
For me the big red flag went up when she said that because the husband who I'll called PJ , did not have a memorial and my friend said she never got a chance to say a final goodbye or to have real closure . When I dug into this more she said she and her husband actually offered to do the memorial and said they would have all the food and flowers and everything at their property which her friend loved . She said she told PJ just find a photo of your wife you really like a lot and we will have it blown up into a much larger picture and will have other pictures there and don't worry we'll handle everything and she said he agreed but then he never got the picture and in the end he just didn't want to do a memorial ... and so it never happened . I said what was the guy so distraught that he just couldn't deal with it ? I said I don't understand this since you guys were going to do everything for him to relieve him of that burden . I said I felt almost as if he had a lot of resentment towards the wife for maybe drinking herself to death as if he couldn't forgive her . Jane said well he couldn't forgive her because they like to take trips on his motorcycle and her getting sick prevented that .
She said the weird thing is that after the wife died he immediately got rid of all her clothing ... And that she and her husband both thought it was weird that a half year later he's trying to find out how to get on a dating site to start meeting and dating a lot of women and that he wasted no time bringing different women over and she said after they met the first one that was it they tried to make sure they usually weren't there or weren't going to be around when another one was going to be with him . So then I started asking more questions and she says that when the wife went in the hospital he could never spend more than 10 minutes with her not even when she was in hospice dying and she said sometimes he was only there with her for 5 minutes and his excuse was that ever since he was in the military he can't be around sickness , and death and dying . She said he was so elusive that she and her husband were usually the ones the doctors would have to talk with to get them to track down the husband or give him information . I know that some people can't deal with these things but the whole comprehensive thing was getting darker and darker the more I was digging and asking questions
And she said that he treated the girlfriends much better than he ever treated the wife and when she confronted him about this he denied it and said something to her where she knew he was outright lying . She said one girlfriend bragged that he's such a gentleman always opening doors for her and he said to her " Get used to it ; that's who I am . " She said when she confronted him he said that's not true he treated his wife like that also and she said you never ever treated her with such respect you never opened doors for her all the years I knew you ... and there were other things that he did for the girlfriends are allowed with the girlfriends were as with his wife it was basically his way or no way . So people throw around the word narcissist nowadays but I think he was that at the very least . I told Jane I wouldn't be surprised if the wife wanted to divorce him and he knew this . Well then she tells me yes , some years ago , before they moved from the Dallas Texas area the wife who I'll call Margie had used her own money to buy land in Oklahoma ... I can't recall if she said it was 50 acres or several hundred acres ... on a lake . So Jane tells me that yes when they lived in the Dallas area Margie told Jane that she couldn't stand him anymore and was sick all the way he's always talking about himself and bragging about himself and goes on and on and that she wanted to divorce him . Jane told me that he would always intimidate her and tell her she's going to end up getting nothing and that she knew this was impossible since she was the one who had bought the land and was going to get at least half of it but he would tell her she's going to walk away with nothing if she tries to divorce him . The weird thing is and this doesn't make sense and I need to ask her some more about this is that Margie who had a good job in it with Microsoft for 20 years and then a major university for 15 had all kinds of Investments and the after Margie died the husband was telling Jane and her husband about the various Investments and all the money and that he was doing well and even spent $20,000 on some kind of Swim Spa .
So Margie became very ill and died about a year or less after she retired ... right when everybody else would be enjoying their lives because they had the time , and the property , the resources and money to enjoy life . So some of this doesn't add up , for example , when Margie told Jane back when she wanted to divorce him that she couldn't afford to live on her own ( and yet she was the one who was pulling in the money and he just worked doing odd jobs ) . So, why am I telling you all this ? I really believe this guy may have gotten away with murder . The wife was cremated as per her request and Jane did tell me that everybody know she wanted to be cremated . Supposedly he got mad when they suggested having the memorial in Texas where all of Margie's family , friends and co-workers were . Supposedly he freaked out and said we will never do it in Texas , no way . I feel he has enemies in Texas and maybe even has warrants , has committed crimes there ... there's got to be a reason ... so in the end he decides on no memorial at all ... even though in the end Jane and her husband were going to have it right there on their own property next to his . Tonight I told Jane I think they might need to present all of this to the detectives to see if there's a way they could check into everything that was the husband's like text messages and whatnot before , during , and after his wife's demise . She also says that the husband would be right there drinking with her when Margie was drinking ... I don't know if she actually witnessed this . He claimed he cut down her ration of Bailey's , as well as her beer to 5 cans a day . I don't know if I believe anything that the husband says even though I never met him . Jane said it's all a lot to think about . As a detective , surely you might say his behavior could possibly sound like someone who you find out later actually did indeed kill their spouse ? I believe he gave her something that slowly poisons the kidneys ... and I told Jane I thought it was weird that they didn't mention anything about the liver because usually if you're drinking yourself to death , It's often the liver that's going to be acting up . I still have more questions ; I need to find out if maybe she was a diabetic ... but I think Jane would have mentioned this . She said that on the last bike trip they were supposed to do , Margie had so much edema and swelled up so much and was in a lot of pain that she couldn't go on and had to cancel out and that PJ was really angry about this . I know that antifreeze can taste sweet in a drink and that it will show up in toxicology . I did ask Jane if she knew for a fact they were actually testing Margie to see what else was going on and if something was somehow slowly poisoning her but she doesn't know . I really do believe the police need to quietly investigate this man and what happened to his wife . Yeah , in the final analysis he could just be guilty of not caring about his wife and whether she lived or died , but I just felt as soon as Jane started talking about this , that something was wrong ... I had to keep asking more and more questions ... and still have a few more questions to ask her . If you have any suggestions whatsoever for this real life story that is not fiction , I am of course willing to listen to anything that you could tell me . I have a bad feeling that in the end they will not complain to the police or detectives that they think their neighbor may have actually been poisoned . Jane told me that even though her husband has said he calls out PJ on his BS and how he did not always treat Margie right , she said the problem is her husband is still very close to PJ and that PJ is his best friend . She said sometimes she can't say much negative about PJ or her husband gets mad at her . I just want to see Justice for this woman , " Margie " if there was actually foul play .
Great video !
Thanks, Adam and Sergeant Patrick O'Donnell for all you guys do from the podcasts to your groups.

Havn't written the show yet, I'm waiting for those few questions that I'll deem worthy. Wow, I can't imagine seeing my story come to life as a movie! I bet that feels great! Great interview! I love Matthew's tip about writing a true story if stumped by writers block. I'll have to try that.
I wish Hollywood would use your services more. Great interview!
Awesome stuff, as usual.
Fantastic interview.
Never shrink to fit.
Huh, I just thought the US emergency dramas weren't using Tyvek suits because it was too much of a faff, it didn't occur to me (in the UK) that you just didn't even use them in the US IRL. Well there you go, every day's a school day 😁
Outstanding episode and congratulations on the RUclips channel.
Hey whoa. Congratulations Adam. Good luck.
Congrats on the Channel!
Yay! Wonderful to see you.
Without even realizing it, I've been staying small because I feared going big. Your foray into video was the nudge I needed to get past that. Thanks, Adam! Robert Mendenhall.
