Up until today my absolute favourite P&P variations were Alix James' London Holiday and Mr Darcy and the Governess. Now I need to add this one to my list as I loved it equally as much. If you haven't listened to the other 2 PLEASE do yourself a favour and make the effort you won't regret it. All 3 are a 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The writing in the minute around 6:30:00 reminded me of the lyricism of a Taylor Swift song and I loved it. This was a true Part 1 (as was stated in the title), and literally every storyline was left hanging at the end, fyi for my fellow readers. But if Stevie Zimmerman is narrating, I'm listening. It's just the way it is, as the daylight follows night.🎧💭🌠🌤️

A very good narrator is Ms. Zimerrman. Thank you for this rather long version of my favourite Jane Austen story.

Wow! Another story I fell in love with! Every version of this story is better than the last one! Wish there is a movie of this where i can actually see the balloon scene both when they were young and at 75! I so admire Stevie! How I wish she can narrate the Highwayman's Letter too! Alix/Nicole, you ladies are the queen of Romcom!!!

I just listened to and read Measure of Love (again!). So excited to see this short narration of Measure of Trust. Now Im reading the whole book. I'm really enjoying this series! Keep them coming!

I hated to see it end, which is the case with all really good books. Stevie Zimmerman is undoubtedly the best narrator I’ve ever heard. If I see she’s the narrator, that’s reason enough for me to choose a book. Great writing, and great narrating!

I thought this story is a lot better than the original story. Or it could have been its own story not based on the characters of Pride and Prejudice. I am so amazed on how the author stitch together beautiful words and phases! How talented are these women, both the author and the narrator! 10 stars for this story!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BUT Stevie would be the 1st I’m certain to admit…She’s presenting the making of the works of an incredible Storyteller. & THAT’s Stevie’s delight, she adores doing the interpretations of brilliant writings.

I really like this story, and although it is heavy stuff for all of them, it didn't leave me in a dour mood. Quite the opposite 😊 Well made story. And my favourite narrator ❤ The only thing which didn't make sense to me was Darcy's permanent refusal to do what was physically possible according to Elisabeth when it had such horrible implications when not trying...

“Oh… Fitzwilliam Darcy if I did not love you with every pore and fibre of my being, I would strangle you for being so damnably obstinate!!” I love it Alix. This is how I imagine the Darcy’s would function. Stubborn sharp words, immediate remorse and both of them so clever that they cannot use romantic words to fix it. I have spent so much time in these two days listening to this because I just could not put it down. The ending of this 2 part book is wonderful. ❤
