You know, Diluc was so emotionally devastated by his father's death, I'm sure he couldn't handle being around that manor and that's why he sold it, so Kaeya bringing that up after Diluc simply asked him to keep his drinking in check, something he even tells the literal god of their land even after learning his true nature, is really unnecessary.
" I don't like Diluc because he's edgy" No, he's not edgy. He is traumatized, his dad died on his birthday and he was just 18 at that time. Not to mention Crepus was a single parent, Diluc lost his remaining family. And after Kaeya told him his secret, he was basically alone with no family. "Diluc is rude to people like Jean and Kaeya" Again, he was traumatized. He has his walls up because he doesn't want to go through the same thing. Which is why he's working alone, so others don't have to suffer what he went through. Also, if you think that's rude then you've never interacted with a rude person before. He was nice to Jean and told her it's not her fault she has to deal with Fatui scum, something like that.. (I don't remember the actual dialogue) If he was rude he would've flat out or indirectly insulted them without provocation, most of the time he is civil. Also, Kaeya's a little shit and he clearly says more rude things to Diluc, most likely to get a reaction out of him or maybe he's just really bad at banter.
@@hiduproh1385 Late reply but I feel like you’re being a bit unfair there. A lot of Diluc’s personality and actions come down to his trauma, right, but the same goes for Kaeya. It wasn’t wrong of Diluc to sell their mansion, it was perfectly within his rights. But it also isn’t wrong of Kaeya to be hurt and angry because of it, feeling like Diluc threw away an important part of their childhood and the legacy of their father, because it was no longer needed or wanted. Just because you’re traumatised doesn’t make you immune to criticism. Especially from people who were hurt by your actions. Same goes for Kaeya’s “betrayal” of Diluc. That didn’t only hurt one of them. Both of them lost their father (Kaeya losing a parent for the 2nd time too, and also being left without a family again, not just Diluc). Then Diluc learns about Kaeya and feels betrayed, and loses his brother. But again, same for Kaeya. How would you feel if you confided in the person you loved and trusted the most about a secret you had to hide all your life (that isn’t even something you ever wanted, it was something you inherited from your parents) and that important person lashed out on you and wounded you so bad you almost ended up blind in one eye, and your relationship never recovered fully? Doesn’t that hurt, too? Placing so much trust in someone because you finally want to be honest with them, being vulnerable, only to have them turn their back on you for something that isn’t even your fault? I get not liking a character, it’s perfectly fine to have different preferences. And Kaeya is someone who says things to get reactions, after all. But, he’s like that because he’s also hurt and traumatised. I think he’s probably the character that screams “trust issues” the most. To give one sibling the benefit of excusing their behaviour and personality because they’re traumatised but not the other, instead just saying that he’s a little shit, ignoring his lengthy trauma and burdens…? I think that’s very biased towards one character, and very unfair to another. If one of them gets a pass for being traumatised, the other should too. Both of them would need a heartfelt talk, some counselling, and a hug.
I'm scared because Kaeya is one of the only people that can actually pronounce Verurteilung-

(The second one includes hinted spoilers) 1st (before interacting with Stanley): "I'm glad I actually had the chance to come down here today. The tavern's not overcrowded, and I couldn't be in a better mood." 2nd (after interacting with Stanley): "Stanley... So many years after the fact, it's not even his friend himself that holds him back anymore. But I for one am confident that the people of Mondstadt will not forget his friend's story."
