In this video, Salus and Athena were only a few days old. I still can't believe how easy it was to introduce them to the ducks. I like it when things go smoothly!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BENJI'S WEBBED FEETS AND HER BIG FLOOFY BODY. She is so adorable and i could just pick her up and cuddle her. ❤❤❤❤
She likes when I squat and give her a knee to stand on. She likes to cuddle that way, or if I get down way low to her height and she can hug that way with her head over my shoulder.. that is getting harder for me at this point in my life. I still try, but it doesn't always work in my favor! I'll give her a cuddle from you when the weather cools down, it's too hot to be a duck today!

It's just great compared to the day prior when the Khakis would false charge him. I even found Petey hanging out in the Clubhouse. I love that he feels at home!
Sweet! Unlikely friends. As the days have gone by, Petey knows to stick close to the geese. He has even been seen sleeping near them during the day. I love this!

Plus, the specialty of their feets to allow them to paddle in water just fascinates me. I'll never get over it. ❤❤❤
@@juliebirb7162 Me too. The ducks never let me rub their feets, I can get a quick touch on some of them but I never got a good feel.. and that tiny toe quivering cracks me up! I took a few different videos, so I will be sharing those too and for as long as the geese allow me to give their feets a rub!

@@juliebirb7162 Benji just doesn't care, as long as Petey doesn't poo in the Clubhouse! Salus and Athena are stunning. They have very little fuzz left. I will be taking their heating plate out of their house this week. They dont need it anymore, all grown up.

Salus and Athena being fully feathered now is so helpful for their warmth overall. I love how birds can rely on their own clothing for survival. If they get hot they have shade and water. ❤❤

@@juliebirb7162 Plant some Sweet Annie seeds by your doors and windows, you wont have any flies come in. It grows like a weed but can be mowed to keep it short. It smells lovely to humans but bugs stay far away.
This really was relaxing just watching and listening. Great sounds of nature and having the goose babies right in the entire frame of the screen makes for a fun watch because they are so cute. ❤❤❤
