Its a mk3b dvt. Nearly. Not a class 90. Those are completely electric. I do believe there are motors in the dvts with chiltern. But because theyre so underpowered they arent used. So they the 68s instead which is nice

How come this train is going at this speed? I used to regualy catch trains from birmingham newstreet in the 90s to coventry.it always used to take so much longer than the published timetable due to being stuck behind a slow moving comutter train or freight train! This vidieo must have been pure luck! This line must be one of the most heavily conjested lines in the country!

went on my first pendolino today from London to Birmingham and back. fantastic trains. felt like riding on a roller coaster. you could see it tilting around the corners. also love the sound it makes. the one I came back with was called Independence day - Resurgence with special livery - very nice
Yeah, it's awesome, Birmingham is the top destination for Virgin Trains coming in from London, Edinburgh and Glasgow :)
