Interview w/ Nurse Practitioner Mish Waraksa Re: Safer Supply, harm Reduction, Drug Poisoning Crisis
Mish Waraksa, a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over four years of experience working in safer opioid supply programs in Toronto, discussed how contaminants in the illicit opioid supply chain complicate the job of healthcare workers and the life-threatening side effects that come with Benzodiazepines and other impurities getting mixed into the street supply.
The conversation also focuses on the disinformation and subsequent spread of misinformation to the public about harm reduction practices, specifically safer supply, by both media and politicians, usually from the Conservative side of the aisle. It's important to understand these issues as a community, as understanding and support ...

Instead of talking about MVLL CRIMES, I had a conversation with Jillian Clair about the movement to legalize magic mushrooms and her research into the benefits of Psilocybin, that ingredient some mushrooms have which adds that psychedelic touch to them that many of us have grown to love. The mood-stabilizing gift from nature that governments want to deny access to. As users, and not scientists ...

Dick Lucas needs to write a book about veganism
I'd like that, but as I believe he said in this interview, he is just vegetarian.
angrified. i am now a firm believer in this word. {fortified anger}
Variations of this word have slipped into my vocabulary since I did this interview. Dick is a genius wordsmith.
Great interview!! Thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. I’m taking my 13 yo son to see the Sub Hum anS in a couple of months and we are going to have a blast
I believe you will have a blast! I wish my dad would have taken me to a show like that. He's a lucky young man.
@@colinburrowes5033 thanks man, I hope this music gets passed down to many, it’s some of the best overall art ever created in my opinion
@@coreykmvy1980 I agree! 💯 percent!
Is that Dick's own comms tower outside the window or has it been put there to mess with his head?
@@seamusoblimey7834 Fair query that may never be properly addressed.
Man, I remember when she started taking photographs. She was just a kid.
Shout out to Katie, I just randomly came across this online! Cool conversation on important subjects. Great points brought up by everyone. Safe supply saves lives✅
As a transwoman myself, I blame the leftwing for constantly shoving my lifestyle down people's throats that either don't understand or don't agree with it. Do I like seeing trans representation? Yes! However, when lgbt narratives are being shoehorned into everything from children's cartoons, triple A movies and TV shows, video games, etc... I mean, if you believe the rightwing Christians are evil and hate us then why keep kicking the hornets nest and shoving rainbows down their throats? Seems to me like it's just justifying resentments and giving bigots ammunition to spread hatred to normies that otherwise wouldn't even have an opinion.
Just curious. Where do you feel that happy medium between being represented and open about who you are, and being in the closet should be? In some areas simply being trans gets some people upset. Should people hide to make bigots comfortable?
What evidence is there of “rising trans hate?” Genuine question. The sophistry also smacks of narcissism or disconnect from reality. Jurist? A jurist is someone who sits a jury. I think “legal advocate” would be more appropriate.
First, I'll point out that a quick look at a dictionary would have helped you learn that the definition of jurist is actually, a law expert. It's not hard to find that out. Type the word into a search engine and the definition comes up in numerous dictionaries. In this particular area of law, Celeste is an expert. I can understand why you thought the definition was someone who sits on a jury. I did too. I learned something new. which is nice. As for the first question, a Google search will also help with that. Type in the words you put in quotations in your comment and you will get a slew of articles, studies and reports that find rising attacks on the 2SLGBTQIA community, with a specific emphasis on Trans people. You may disagree but there is a wide array of sources that many people find reputable. I'll leave that up to you to decide.

I had a similar experience. I expected it to be very good, but it was beyond that. It was amazing.
Thanks for the upload, I'm going to their show in a few days and didn't know what to expect!
Hope you enjoy it! I think it was probably one of my all-time top concert experiences of all time. It's really well done and a very easy experience for non-Russian speakers to comprehend.
This is fun. 😁
Best band in the history. And I don't mean their songs, but how they made them. They're the perfect band. No lead singer, everybody is only there to compliment the other. They're very lucky people to have had a band like that.
I agree with your comment. I feel lucky to have come of age when they were active. One of the greatest live bands I've seen too.
❤
How was the show over all?
Amazing. One of the best concerts I ever attended and I have been to a lot. And then it was also packed with information.
Does it worth it?
Yes.
Niet Voyny.
One of my all time favorite songs!
Nice
💐 "Promosm"
What really sucked most about Limewire & Kazaa & Napster, wasn't that they broke the music industry, but that you stopped getting good music from people you liked and that liked you and instead got it from a computer or a computerperson that gave zero f's about you. Suddenly it went from a real social to a solitary thing over a year or two, unless you were into vinyl ofc.
the definitive post-hardcore song
Henry Rollins is all into this band. They must be a bunch of HIV Positive Rump Rangers.

More cowbell! ❤

Have to admit it's pretty catchy pop punk song. Blink 182 and sum 41 would be proud of these guys for carrying on their legacy.
