You're right, you should have sang this song on American idol. It's way better than Peppermint Sky and it needs to get radio play. It showcases her voice her songwriting ability. It's actually a little bit criminal that this isn't being promoted everywhere.

She has an amazing voice. Watching her original audition still gives me goosebumps. But this is kind of a depressing song and it really doesn't showcase her voice. That's probably why there's not that many views.
