    This 6 days and 48 hours norm is also too much. The work environment in our country itself is so horrible that companies especially private exploit employees so mych. Indian factories Act, 1948 is not implemented properly nd the new Labour law introduced by centre is itself anti employee nd controversial. This leaves room for more exploitation by the corporates to make employees work more more. This 4 days 48 hrs is utter absurd. 90% companies are not giving 5 days work week 😅. The work culture in foreign nations especially western is better off with work life balance. Its better Govt brings about a strict legislation that no Private companies make employees work in excess of 5 days. Both Murthy nf his wife who support this are insensitive nd callous. I work 6 days nd 9 hrs which itself is way frustrating nd horrible with no social life left.

    When i.planned to move to new team , they said no promotion. I told this mr anil kumar , the myayanger from andhra that if we shift teams, we need to compromise. , he activated his network in seconds and spread the news that i compromised for xx favours , for him.and his gangs, compromise is only xx, i meant promotion , he thought xx. May be compromise is for xx only , thats y never use that word , im sure if he is thinking that level, there must be xx compromises also happening in the industry

    Simple answer -- Do not take his advice and do whatever you want to do in life - Work and anything else -- he has recommended to nation building which he did in his 30s .. If todays RUclips generation wants to earn easy money through YOU TUBE reels , do that -- Work 1 hour per week and earn 1000 dollars .. Afterall we are in Free world

    19/11/2023: 16:35 HRS A lot of CEOs wants to work more, but silent about pay and increment. STD wrkg time is 8 HRS but orgzs hv already extended timing 9-9½ HRS. How many leaves get p/a? MNCs r closed on SATs but what about other Pvt Orgzns in India. Get no other benefits. In India employees working in Pvt Organization are the real slaves, without a chain on their neck. A Riksha puller have bargaining capacity, if he asks to 10 customers at least 2-3 customers shall pay some money extra. All Govts kept silence since independence and exploitation continuous beyond to law. Govts. think the cost of living affect only Govt. Employees and conveniently forget employees in Pvt. Sector.

      Yes. This is what my survey also found out. The plight of workmen, even trained workmen, in non-IT sector, is worse. In MSME sector, 12-hour shift everyday is a norm, six days a week.

      @@ytrutnad Why advice - All emloyees should be treated strictly as per law which is blind -- 9. 30 AM Log in if not salary cut -- Lunch hour to be monitored - If so called great technique to be given time bound assignment , if they fail -- take out the job and give to some one else -- Should be treated like that only -- Please note ther are companies which exploit much more than Infosys -- One Guy from San Fransico called called his Dad I am stressd too much ( he wa working in BIG consulting company ) -- That brillaint person committed suiicide on that night and mentioned work pressure in death note -- This happened in USA conculating firm

    Sir,infosys founder is not a relaxed person even after he achieved enormous wealth and fame. He is too critical and is used to having his way in particular on Indian corporate matters. Life is not one dimensional as he has come to believe it. There is more to life than financial success.

    Very well explained. Falling rupee vis-a-vis dollar is good for our exports but makes imports costlier which eventually increases trade deficit. I wonder if there is a strategy in place at Govt level to exploit the benefit of a depreciated rupee.
