I think he is clear of Van Dijk imo, Van Dijk had 2 great seasons and one injury has seemingly turned him into a shadow of himself. Konpany had countless injuries but still remained a massive figure on the pitch and a leader of men. While Van Dijk seemingly prefers to jockey backwards away from challenges in fear of no longer having the recovery pace if beaten.
