Kinda crazy that people are GENUINELY comparing Eunji and Chen. Eunji is a WOMAN with a soprano vocal type. Chen is a MAN with a tenor vocal type. Eunji is quite obviously gonna hit the note with more ease and fully support it (especially since she has one of the best techniques in kpop). It is quite amazing that Chen was able to hit the note, but it’s obviously strained. In fact the entire chorus he sings is strained. But that’s to be expected because he’s a MALE singer trying to sing in a FEMALE key. And it’s not just any song, ITS FRICKIN “TEARS” LMAOOOO. No matter how great of a vocalist Chen is, there’s no way he would be able to fully support the notes up there. It’s asking too much of him lol. Btw, I’m not saying there aren’t men who can sing such high notes (bc there most certainly are), but Chen’s range just doesn’t go that high. And that’s okay bc a vocalist’s range doesn’t define EVERYTHING about them. Besides, Chen’s range is already impressive enough as it is for a tenor.

Yes Chen's voice is higher than Eunji's voice but I like how Eunji hit the highnotes cause she is so relax while Chen is like it is so hard to him to hit the highnotes but I like the both of them....
