You probably don’t need another roof you just need shingles that match the ones you have better and under lap them under the other ones. I love that you can see her well manicured nails and she is still doing this job. She is adorable!

I've just found out I have a hole in my roof! I wish I could get to it on ladders but it is about five times higher than your roof. I need a lot of scaffolding for a tiny hole!

Damn 2000 for a hole in the roof..they must've tried to definitely get over..hell i had an estimate of about a few hundred bucks so i definitely did the job myself

$2000 for that small repair? All the roofers literally need to do is take out a section a bit bigger than the area of the hole, cut out the damaged plywood from one rafter to another, put in some bracing for the plywood to sit on horizontally, put the piece back in and then put some new shingled back on. Literally would take maybe an hour tops. Unless you're in the middle of nowhere and the closest roofer has to travel a few hours to get there, $2000 is way too much. All you have to pay for material is maybe a bundle of shingles, but most roofers will have a few bundles leftover in the garage/truck and scrap piece of sheething.

I am not a roofer. Like the temporary fix. I see that it would have been too expensive. Probably more wood and more shingles etc My guess is the HOA would not accept even a leak proof roof that was cosmetically pleasing, even it was done up to local codes. The main thing is that more damage wasn't done to interior of the 🏠.

I am a Carpenter and LEA in the Oregon, I don’t do a lot of roof work, but Im no stranger to it either. I am impressed with how brave you are to take this on yourself! Is it perfect? No. But it will definitely do the job until the next tear out!
