Exploring Crew AI: Agentic Frameworks for AI Agents
In this video, I dive into Crue AI, an agentic framework designed for orchestrating role-playing autonomous AI agents. Join me as I explore what defines an AI agent and how frameworks like Crue AI can simplify the development process by managing state and providing useful tools.
We'll walk through:
- Understanding the three key components of an AI agent: reasoning (LLM), tools, and state management.
- Installing Crew AI and setting up a virtual environment.
- Creating a new Crew AI project and examining its structure.
- Modifying the default tasks to create a custom job description generator involving a hiring manager and a senior recruiter.
- Running the project and analyzing the output.

Product Philosophy: Paul Graham - Build for Users Who Love vs Like
Просмотров 57День назад
For any product, there is a choice to go narrow or to go wide. Most business theories, likely from business schools, and general wisdom suggest targeting a large market and addressing a large problem. But is this the right way to build a product? I like Paul Graham's advice and try to stick to it: when starting, it's okay to go as deep and narrow as possible. We can always find a path to expand...

Sam Altman Product Philosophy: Always keep momentum
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.День назад
Sam Altman discussed this in the context of startups. However, having founded startups and built products in Big Tech, I feel it applies well to later as well. Momentum can solve many problems within a team, such as obtaining headcounts and keeping people motivated. One effective way to achieve this is to "always be (c)shipping," which I refer to as "ABC" for product management. This is especia...
Stripe CEO Product Philosophy: Micro Pessimism, Macro Optimism
Просмотров 1 тыс.День назад
This one is really helpful product philosophy that I live by. I simply call it - "short-term pessimist, long-term optimist". You need some paranoia to move things in short-term and make things constantly better. But you also need to motivate stakeholder (team, leadership, investors etc) of long-term potential and stay hopeful, and this philosophy helps me get that balance right. #productmanager...

Steve Jobs Product Philosophy: It's not demos but incredible customer benefit
Просмотров 4372 дня назад
It's also one of the gem product philosophy from Steve Jobs. We can do so many things in products: new scroll, new language support, completely new feature etc and it's easy to build cool demos for most (especially those AI demos). But that doesn't mean it's right product things to do. Does it offer incredible customer benefit that competition just doesn't match? That is the question I try to a...

Top UX Innovations Supporting AI Wave

If the past tech trends are any reference, the UX evolves and aids the tech trends. The mobile wave gave us swipe, location aware experience, etc. The cloud was mostly accompanied with consumerization of IT and better deployment patterns. The AI waive is no different. It has been hugely complemented by UX innovations. But it's early days and we are yet to see the full potential of what's possib...

Wozniak with everything Apple wanted to make it modular allowing you to add and upgrade elements; improving what you had over time. Jobs wanted a new product to be released each time instead. Worse for the environment. Worse for the consumer. He programed nothing. Designed the electronics of nothing. Any greedy marketer could have filled his place. Nothing special.
Now its so weird that people went all ballistic about the iPad not supporting Flash... this was indeed a feature in decline and SJ was dead on about not supporting it.
but iPad already did support flash and apple disabled it, not because it didn't work or anything of the sort, but because flash ran its own runtime, meaning apple couldn't forcibly monetize commissions from everything flash aps could do in the same way apple does monetize their exorbitant commissions from everything the commercial iOS apps do. apple has consistently made decisions to increase profits at the expense of customer satisfaction and convenience.
I mean, you could also argue that it was this decision that killed it
flash was already supported on iOS. jobs killed it because they couldn't monetize commissions from commerce done thru flash like they do from other 3rd party apps, since it ran in its own runtime. same reason for the expensive and inconvenient lightening cable = $$$$$
Apple doesn’t listen anymore! They’re hell bent on monetising. Their RUclips videos doesn’t allow commenting.
IDIOMA EM INGLÊS NOME 😂
People have criticisms of your product for not being necessarily good and missing a lot of necessary features. "We want to make the best product possible so we took the risk of making it shitty and expensive" What a loss for the world. . .
I miss him so much. Tim Cook sucks!

Tim Cook was a reality check.
How?
and here we are in 2024, companies insulting their core audiences, calling them names for not buying their propaganda. We will see many companies go under, because of this.
Can we stop with the Steve Jobs rubbish? He was a user and a scammer.
I watch RUclips and feel smart.

STEVE JOBS MANAGEMENT STYLE - He gets a great idea (from himself or someone else) with no idea of how to make it work. Then tells his team. Figure out how to make it work or you're fired. Even if you have to work 90 hours a week and live in the office.
No that’s just a bad manager
Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Apple and Tesla worse than any other religion
Says the guy who never worked with him or worked at Apple, just read some article on Internet or saw a video about him.
Did he put a gun to any employee's head and made them work for Apple? No. Do you need to know how to build a product in order to be a Founder/CEO? No. So what is your point? That he was a terrible human? Maybe. He was certainly flawed in a lot of ways. But he had a vision and knew how to realize it. And no one was forced to work for him.
If it’s so easy why don’t you start a company then, bozo
Where can I find the full talk?

I've never heard free market capitalism explained better
Except, that a hell of a lot of the technology that made all of it possible came from ... governments. Companies like Apple are exceptional when it comes to applications. How to sell something to the masses. How to make it cheap and affordable. But when it comes to actually basic research, it's the government, public universities and investments by the public. Apple never really invented anything. All the technology they used was already there. The computer, the electronics behind it, the interfaces. Jobs managed to put it together in a package that could be sold succesfully, which was a genius move. But look at all the major infrastructure around you, the internet, space exploration, the electronic industry a lot of it came from government funding. And a hell of a lot came from military research. The whole Internet wouldn't be here without the ARPANET financed by the US Airforce. Without NASA and their research the whole industry around microelectronics would have never been created. The Manhattan project jumpstarted the nuclear industry. So many technologies today wouldn't exist without the government and not capitalism.
Yeah, a dude waxing poetic about manufacturing heaps of overpriced garbage in the third world to sell to spoiled rich kids in the west so they can consume brain melting content by the truckload with none of the productive capability of a computer. iPhones are stupid, Steve was just a sleazy salesman who pretended to be changing the world.
@@CrniWuk Preach It Louder for those in the back
@@CrniWuk Wrong. Every piece of tech is used and tested first in the military or researched by 3 lettter agencies and it is funded by citizens through government. Any kind of more advanced tech was never published to the masse, it is released around 15-20 years later from first appearance in military. The gov doesn't create, invent or produce any of the technology, private companies do that. The internet was never ment to go "public", nor ARPANET, US Force or IBM never did anything to spread technology and make it available publicly. Fortunately, only a few people from France wanted to change it and here we are. Jobs and his Apple team did a great job back then. Advanced, difficult to understand technology simplified to the point where even a kid or an elderly could flawlessly use it with pure joy on the face. The government only want you to pay taxes and collect some of that money in exchange for development of public road infrustructure, little bit better healthcare and other slogans people believe in.
@@CrniWuk you must be a commie. All the projects you listed required 'capital' investment by the government, to private companies, on the behalf of it's citizens. Nowhere did the state own the means of production, and if you want the truth of it, Bell Labs started the ball rolling with money earned by their monopoly.
Hey it is the guy that gets credit for telling other people to invent stuff.
Way to have no idea how it works
@@sethdhanson Steve Jobs is a POS saleman. A F'ing salesman. Nothing else. What kind of POS denies the existence of his own daughter?
This sentence is so weird, it broke my mind. What do you mean by "telling"? His job is to literally set the vision and make choices -- after he does that, he tells people what he decided. That is literally the job of a leader. Not many people have "founded Pixar Studios" as a side-project :D What do you actually expect someone like him to do? Someone whose skillset and job is to put right people together working on his vision. And secondly, where are those inventors how? Last invention worth mentioning Apple produced are M1 chips. God, you really broke my mind.
@michalkrsik2702 Gamma alert! Gamma Alert!
No, he gets credit to take a near bankrupt company and turn it into world's most valuable one in 15 years and along the way build such a great engineering, managerial and deisgn team actually that made products that changed the society and profited from that. Also the company he built stood the test of time and thrived even after he passed away and now's a trillion dollar behemoth
lorenzosipad apple4
Sociopath who stole and leeched from everyone he could get his hands on
He built apple to a trillion dollar company.
you're watching this on a mac or iphone
Wow you couldn’t be more wrong
@@Matteblak Soyboy fanbois hate it when you denigrate a billionaire saleman.
If anyone of those people who created the technology had the vision, ruthlessness and market understanding that Jobs had - they’d be Bill Gates.
Thank you so much for this valuable information.
Very helpful :)
the best way to understand the codebases might be to see the test cases
navigating codebase was tough for me in the beginning but as you go through the project and understand the architecture and working of the project, you are able to understand the codebases....
I wish more projects would document the file structure. So the tool you showed seems very useful.
underrated video.

Thanks!... I didn't catch how you enabled inline auto-complete suggestions (such as your TODO which is autocompleted for you).. Does this still require github copilot installed + separate subscription? It's not working for me
Hi, try this way: www.loom.com/share/0f8cb92f0c4342939124426c2704fed4?sid=2bba4154-ded4-4b70-b2be-2bdb54a55a88 It seems cursor team has constrained model in way that some time you have to more precise.
Thank you :) clever approach.. It often leads to unnecessarily long and obscure code, I then try (or sometimes ask for help) to shorten and simplify to make the code easier to manage .. but, it's early days
