Oh my gosh i have hypermobility ehlers danlos. Getting ANY treatment for it here is a NIGHTMARE. I have had to pay and go private soooo many times because I just couldnt be seen publicly. Im now looking at moving to japan because my 7 year old has just been diagnosed with it. It took me moving from NZ to america for 10 yrs to even be diagnosed with it. I had been dealing with joint dislocations my entire childhood, the doctors said i did it for attention. I was always under weight and vomiting food up. Doctors said i had an eating disorder. I was passing out all the time. Doctors said it was anxiety. Anytime id have a severe allergic reaction... it was self inflicted. I was in ED so regularly as a child for dislocations that the doctors would intentionally make me wait and suffer til the next shift to relocate it because i was "wasting their time dislocating my joints for attention." No. I had ehlers danlos this whole time. I wasnt dislocating my joints for attention nor should a 8-16 year old even be able to. No i didnt have an eating disorder, it was gastroparesis. No i didnt have anxiety, it was POTS. No i wasnt causing allergic reations for attention, it was mast cell activation syndrome. Its wild how bad things can be in the health system for certain people here.

Free healthcare is great for emergency operations, general hospital admission and other essentials but elective surgery’s and stuff are terrible. Everyone should have health insurance

This stuff really hurts, I want so desperately to trust my partner but I can't I hate myself by and get so frustrated and emotionally trapped. If someone hurts me that's it. I had those exact parents and a complete shit show of a childhood.

Hi, can help me for what fund can suit me for my kiwisaver when i turn 65. My kiwisaver provider put me to the conservative fund and under for 1year or less and for 3%, but i've been join in kiwisaver for 8years and i paid 8% out of my wages. And now i decided to withdraw my kiwisaver when i turn 65 in January 2024. Can you help which fund i should be because i look at 3 funds i better be under the Balance fund.

One of the things the Australian Rudd government did during the 2008 GFC was guarantee bank deposits up to $250,000, per person, per bank. So any one with more than $250,00 could make sure it was safe by spreading it around several banks. It is good to know that your money is safe and that there will never be a run on the banks.

When i look back, the thought of fooling Indians and taking them to a remote place by giving them false information that it is only a few miles away is sad and funny at the same time. But it also highlights how innocent Indians were back then 😢
