watching this in 2023. i remember this season and them trying to style him up and change who he was. this song choice by him was basically him saying either you like me for me or i'm leaving. he wasn't going to change who he was just to stay on the show. i fell in love with him as an artist because of his authenticity. imagine telling ed sheeran he was hiding behind his guitar.

Wow… I love this song and I love Colton Dixon, put them together and it’s just amazing. I had absolute goosebumps listening, Colton has a beautiful voice and the emotion behind the song… I absolutely adored every second of it

My oldest son and my sixth baby used to listen to this version everyday and almost blew out my speakers on my television!!! Colton you are awesome!!!
