@@architecturaldata8981 Architects do not simply "create" projects and leave it to draftsmen to realize them. Kahn continued to modify the designs for all of his projects all the way through the construction phase. When he died, he had not developed the design for the Four Freedoms Park beyond a schematic design, of which an aerial perspective rendering is one of the few things he left behind. Although many important decisions had been made, like all of his projects the process of design would have continued. As it is, the space at the southern end of the island, to which the entire design literally points, was built with all the grace of a truck loading dock. Kahn would certainly have done much better. To call this a "Louis Kahn" project is profoundly misleading. He started it, but unfortunately never had a chance to finish it.
