I'm sorry to say that I disagree with the placement of your Number 1 pick. I feel that song is supremely overrated amongst the community (as I do with the game itself). For me, that song is like... Number 8. I think you also vastly underrated Caught.

35:40 Actually, with this and your comment about how they're not going to, let me tell you something, I've recently watched a video from Doodley about why motion capture didn't replace hand-made animation and he actually brings up AI in the video because of how eerily similar the early adoption of motion capture and the heads' treatment of it is in the 2000s to now what we're seeing with the early adoption of AI and the heads attempting to use it to replace workers. The point of this bit is that we've been there before, this whole AI misuse thing is not the first time companies saw the latest technology as a way to replace workers and save money, we've faced this very same thing before, but with motion capture, and it's because of this that they eventually flopped at the box office because people didn't want it at the end, not to mention these cost savings which if you look closely don't actually exist, like with AI, Microsoft is actually losing money because of their investment in AI, just like how the film Mars Needs Moms actually made Disney lose a lot of money. And yet even with this, technology did improve and film makers and game developers finally started using motion capture in a way that is actually useful to them. I can see the same thing happening with AI in a few years from now where these AI made films and games will eventually flop because people don't want it which that will finally give the hireups the slap they need, the workers who were laid off will get their jobs back and AI will finally be used in a way that actually helps the workers and makes their jobs easier. My point is motion capture didn't replace hand-made animation and AI will not either.

For me, at least in context of solo E8 (little experience in looping I'm afraid): S: Acrid, Artificer, False Son, Loader, Mercenary (if you know how to do expose-carry, A otherwise), Railgunner, Void Fiend A: Bandit, Huntress (my main), Mul-T, Seeker, B: Captain, Commando, C: Engineer, REX, D: Chef, Everything in S either do massive inherent damage (Loader, Railgunner, funny that they both can also pillar-skip w/o items), have wicked abilities that snuff out the game's content on their own (Arti, Acrid), or can basically do with whatever the game gives them w/o being entirely dependent on them (Merc, FS, Fiend), with Merc being a bit more tech-heavy but not necessarily too hard to do consistently once you figure it out. Everything in A are also consistent but just not on the same level as the others, and you have to take building a little more into account than the higher echelons. But by doing so, can perform just as well as the S-tiers. Get good at the macro-game and these might as well be S-tiers. Should be noted I haven't played much Seeker yet, being at E3, but these runs have been smooth enough for me to just whack her there. Captain is amazing honestly, especially when you actually know how to use Diablo Strike. Its just that mobility is much bigger of a thing in E8 and if your run is deprived of speed, its gonna be a doozy even if microbots can carry on the defensive side (Mithrix won't care about that though, though timing Diablos does help somewhat on that front). Commando has a LOT of build oppertunities and he becomes a great survivor when you get good at that, but it takes considerably more effort. One of the more fun survivors due to build diversity imo though. Engineer and REX aren't bad per-se. Its just that Engineer has much of the same problems that Captain has, but without much to correct the problem sans cheesing Mithrix. REX doesn't necessarily suck in the mode either but it does take effort in the same vein that Commando has, except that there's less build oppertunities. Chef is Chef.

Great Video also respect with not using artifact of command in any of the clips. Personally I would put bandit above false son and move void fiend to top of A tier because for bandit being able to remove aggro for a few seconds to reposition i value so much though losing the buff for his special between stages does suck but you would 1 shot anything without items if it didn't have some limiter and for why void fiend in A tier is merely because I'm bad with his form mechanic lol but overall I agree with a lot of tier list

commando my beloved is an S tier in my heart he has 2 and a half characters based on him for a reason (Void fiend, robomando, and the half is the unofficial starstorm nemesis commando that was planned to be in returns)

Disagree heavily with the bottom of the list. Top 2 we agree, I just have them switched personally. But none of that matters. Know what I respect the hell out of? Letting the theme play through completely once before you start talking. THAT was 100% objectively correct. Well done!

Nothing beats the original imo. The almost frantic tension in that song is unmatched. Ace attorney wouldn’t have been what it is now without that theme and what it did for the original trilogy.
