My first ever timelapse sequence using the Holy Grail technique. The photos are processed with LRTimelapse, and Adobe Lightroom. The final video is made with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Landing performed on runway 34 (LDA 1900m) on a nice summer day in slightly gusty headwind and rising thermals above the land. The video shows the last part of the RNAV approach flown in LNAV/VNAV by autopilot, followed by disconnection of the automatics, all the way down to approaching the parking stand.

Pure beauty
To be a pilot is my dream job, ever since I was little I've wanted to be up in the skies. Currently, i'm 14 years old and never been in a plane however, I extremely fascinated by flight and would love to do it for a job. I'd like to ask you for advice to become a pilot if you do not mind. Firstly, how did you become a pilot (also how much money did it cost)? Well, the thing i'm stuck with is options, I cannot take flying lessons as I do not have anywhere near that amount of money. I was thinking about joining a university that does Pilot Studies and gaining my wings from there but, It's getting an airline to hire me straight from Uni. Finally, my last option and probably the one i'll have to go for is the Royal Air Force. The RAF seems great and i'd love the fact that i'm doing it for my country and it doesn't cost. However, that is not my preferred route as I'd much rather just become a commercial pilot and not wait 12 years serving in the Forces. So anyway, please could you give me advice on what route I should take and what would be best, thank you.

In 1984 when U2 first released the song "Bad" I was a young First Lieutenant in the Air Force with barely 1200 flight hours, flash forward 32 years. I'm now a commercial airline captain with over 22,000 flight hours. I still love U2 and I still love flying. Thanks for a walk down memory lane. Great video, thanks for sharing!
