Honestly it was frustrating to play against. Maybe if Sora moved like he did in KH2 it would be more fun. A huge chunk of what made it hard was definitely the movement and not exactly the Yozora's mechanics.

I don't feel dread when fighting soulsbornering bosses. I do so when going against Yozora.

critical mode kh series was hard compare to any souls game becasue they dont have pattern and attck you with group

New players on critical mode for first time they die once I ain’t playing critical mode, meanwhile veteran players I can easily beat this guy. Meanwhile me play with easy codes just to get oblivion on critical mode and then whoop his ass with one hit.

This fight I always feel conflicted on liking and disliking because I like elements of the fights but I feel like overall it's hard to react to his moves. Other of the bosses in the DLC I can easily understand their movesets after taking damage / dying from it for the first time. For me I understand if the start of the animation easily reactable for me to do what I need to do but this fight is always teleporting in. So it's more of memorization of the whole fight which I never enjoy in a boss battle.

Idk, Epigonos (Evil Ryu) it has a very easy weakness to exploit, In my opinion I think I suffered more with Cliff or Prototype godness. I would put Spider-Tank above Epigonos.

For Laser Trap, you can also use Aero before the first trap and that'll knock him away as well, and for Vortex Rush, if you stay near the area he disappears at, you can use a reprisal after the third hit and knock him away Its literally free damage since reprisals don't raise RV, so going for a critical counter will help a ton!

Played through the entirety of every Fromsoft game and Kingdom hearts game, each one a playthrough on the hardest difficulty at least once. Yozora doesn't hold a candle even with his bs moves. It isn't just a matter of boss difficulty either. It's also the fact that kingdom hearts and souls games play differently. For instance in souls games your stamina is something you must keep an eye on at all times unless you'd like to be demolished in half a second. Plus in the case of some bosses you have to worry about various status effects, lightning fast grab attacks that only have a visual queue(as opposed to kh where any enemy about to hit you with something nasty typically announces it very clearly). On the other hand, sora or whatever other characters you play as across any of the kh series have no such weakness. Damn near every boss in the series can be summed up as a game of block and keep away while moving at mach jesus. Plus you feel significantly more powerful in kh than you would in a souls game due to all the crazy abilities you have. You have psuedo infinite health so long as you play safe and let your mp recharge should you need to heal. Even in the worst case scenarios so long as you're just dodging, it's only a matter of time before you get a full heal. Souls games have no such luxury except for arguably demon's souls due to moon grass being so common to find. And if want to compare a boss to a boss from each game, there's an entire grocery list of bosses I can list off the top of my head more difficult than Yozora. Matter of fact, here's one from each game. Demon's: False King Allant Ds1: Kalameet Ds2: Sinh Ds3: Demon Prince BB: Ludwig Sekiro: Isshin Elden Ring: Bayle And before anyone says, "but Yozora can steal your items. Even your kupo coin. He's obviously harder." That's just precious. Just as a direct comparison let's use a souls boss with a similar ability to Yozora. False King Allant has a grab attack that can strip the humanity of your character in addition to PERMANENTLY REDUCING YOUR PLAYER LEVEL. And he can do this an infinite number of times. So if you began fighting him at let's say level 80, he could in theory delevel you all the way back to level 1 if you screw up enough. That makes not only the task of beating Allant more difficult with each grab, but by proxy makes the rest of the game more difficult as well. You could lose the ability to properly wield your weapons in addition to doing less damage, and having less health. And the worst Yozora can do is what? TEMPORARILY reduce your health if you get hit wrong? Momentarily steal your keyblade? Take your items for a heal and revive? At least you get that stuff back if you play right or when he beats you. Souls games know no such generosity. Again there's an entire list of reasons why Yozora isn't really all that difficult compared to souls bosses, but I'm getting tired of texting.

It's bosses like these that make the series so boring. It's just memorization, luck or cheese just like lingering will.

I beat pre-nerf Consort Radhan (with Mimic). Still haven't beat Yozora. Though granted I also didn't put as much time into Yozora, same with KH2 Data fights and LW.

My favorite boss in any game ever as a challenge runner. Kh3 limit cut and yozora are truly the closest thing to perfection in combat for me. I played, loved and did a lot of challenge runs in souls games as well, especially on Elden ring DLC. Yet, i still stay on the opinion that yozora and some kh3 data fights, were better (and harder) than eveything I faced in From games.

while i agree that souls likes games arent this hard, i do believe i have fought harder bosses when it comes to a difficulty standard though, this one is one of the hardest

I will never understand wanting to fight these types of bosses because if I need to a guide on a super boss it just seems more work than it’s worth.

In all seriousness though, Yozora is the ultimate test of skill for any Kingdom Hearts fan. Beating him felt like reaching the peak of Mount Everest. I honestly have nothing but respect for the people who found a way to speed run this fight. Square Enix is going to have to pull out all the stops to create a boss that one ups Yozora.

She's like the light side version of Ansem Seeker of Darkness. I can see why they saved her and Master Xehanort for last. Also, little tip for anyone who doesn't know. You can actually deplete Xion's armor before she launches her super attacks by using the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Shotlock "Stellar Constellation." It's really quick, and deals heavy damage. Ultima, Oathkeeper, and Oblivion are your best friends during the Data Organization XIII battles in Re:Mind.

i found the best way to dodge the fire worm attack is stay next to a wall and do attack that drops ryu to the ground real fast.(run up the wall and hit the heavy attack)i cant think if the actual name right now

Fun fact, for her second attack when she throws the Keyblade, you can actually Dodge Roll through the first throw, then immediately block the second one into a Counter Slash to interrupt her before she can do the third throw. I find it more satisfying than doing the Risk Dodge method.

Square doesn’t make fair boss fights in the same sense as FromSoft. Critical mode could quite possibly translate into “critical thinking mode”. Same applies to Final Fantasy REBIRTH. You have to think outside the box to beat these games on max difficulty. It’s not an instinct based game. It’s not even broken. It’s more of a puzzle in the form of combat.

I didn't even know this fight was in this game. My whole gripe with KH3 was that even playing on critical mode, I knew I was playing a kid's game because it was so easy. Maybe I'll have to reinstall KH3 and give this guy a shot

Reflect is actually blockable, but its hard to get the timing because you're attacking first.

I finally beat him with pro codes on but damn i still do not understand how to dodge that laser move he always teleports right next to me and i just get caught in it luckily you can hit him while he is sucking you up only way I've escaped that damn move
