Why spray soapy water on your hands when you can just use gloves ?
Thankyou!
Wouldn't it damage the carbon frame if I use heat gun?
@Wilderwild- I store my bike in a I closed trailer and in the summer it gets pretty hot. Do you think your product would peel off from heat of trailer?
Can it be installed over existing clear tape applied by the manufacturer?
I'm now wrapping my second frame with your amazing tape! I love your product. I also have a suggestion. Rather than cutting the tape to a pre-determined width based on your current pattern, consider that using the full width of the tape on some frames would provide more protection and less waste (of your awesome product). *also, I would love a Celtic or Viking knotwork pattern...:)
Good tip. How about any tips regarding the actual application process?🫡👍Love the topo pattern, looking forward to seeing the look & of course the efficacy of its protection.
Wish you had more designs
Pro tip, DONT put the heat gun in your balls 😂
Has anyone tried to add this on top of existing clear protection tape? Or doubling up for extra protection?
Thanks braddah stay awesome
Thank you very much.
You are the best, I dont take a rest.
Great video guys. Thanks a lot.
How do you remove if need be once fully applied?
I got this wrap for my fuel ex and end up having to heat the tape to be able to installed it on top tube, I followed the steps on the video and just didn't worked. The film is little too thick so it didn't adhere to the frame "that's why the heating part , make moe malleable " I'm afraid to even try the rest of my bike, is too difficult and LOT orlf work , for something that according to the video should be super easy.
Honestly it looks like a total pain... I’m wondering if I even want to proceed with the install.
Thank you 🙏
Music 🎼 great 👍 cool product for bikes 🚴 wow this is a great product so professional the presentation well done guys //////// ps , Shazam music but wrong 😑 tune if u leave link of proper sound 😎
*Great **Latest.Bike** , good looking, good suspension and love the gearing. I've tested some bikes that were more then twice the price but not as good. Get lots of looks when riding.*
Thanks I think that bike definitely looks better after removing the nasty frame tape. Clear wrap would make that bike pop.
Hmmm. I used the clear gloss tape so bubbles probably show easier. I have some bubbles and tried lifting the tape and reapplying. That didn't entirely go as planned. That was the left side of the bike. The DT side looks much better. Hopefully the bubbles close some as the heat dissipates.
How to protect rare derailleur from accident ??
Keep the bike in the garage
Is it safe to use a heat gun on a carbon frame bike ?
I did use a heat gun on mine. Just don't heat it like you are going to grill some chicken.
Can I wash my bike with skin protector on it with a pressure washer?not a heavy duty one though
yes
excellent video 👋
I’d have to say the instructions on the box were more in depth than the video.
Well I'm glad I did both! This isn't easy, it takes time and patience. Its possible to have a flawless install with no bubbles it just takes practice.
Update: I finished putting it on. They're always a pain regardless of brand. This time I struggled with removing the air bubbles despite numerous attempts. It's good enough for now..LOL. Hopefully the Sun will do the rest...LOL Awesome video! One of the best explanations I've seen! I just bought a clear version. I'm installing it on my V1 Ripmo. For now, I'll put it on the Swingarm. Thanks!!
Did the sun help?
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 I'll be honest the sun only helps a little, you really want to get out as many bubbles the first time. If your struggling with to many bubbles try again and use way less water/soap. I mean 80-90% less solution. Always lay down the center of the tape first with no bubbles, then use hairdryer on all floating edges (activating the glue), push out toward the edge of the tape 1" at a time ( alternating left side right side) using your squeegee. Good luck. Send me a message through our website if you're having any more issues! Thanks
@@mikeboggs7548 Thank you for the detailed reply! I was able to get the top tube and bottom tube pieces to look good. Just took patience.
@@mikeboggs7548 I wish I read this beforehand lol 😂
What brand & model of tape is this? I love that pattern!

Just purchased the dragon scale tape and it looks and feels high quality. Can’t wait to get it on my frame.
This is an excellent bike protective tape instruction video. It’s clear and concise.
