could I use this in a DMX environment to control a moving head, in order to use it as a follow-spot ?
Hey Marvin, thanks for the comment. Currently CMPSR outputs MIDI, so you can easily convert to DMX and control a full lighting rig. We have used CMPSR during a number of performances to control music, lighting and video playback in Resolume. Hopefully this helps!

Wow you really beat me to it. I had practically the same idea and I’ve been prototyping it in arduino. It is honestly so fun and easy to play music on a joystick when you set your 8 notes so you never go out of scale and I think this could help get a lot of people in to music. If you would ever consider collaborating I have a lot of ideas in terms of design and making the product as intuitive as possible but anyways keep up the good work
