lost planet 2 is one of my all time favorite games, I wish I had friends who still played it like I do. the campaign gets better for me everytime I play it no matter how many times I play it.

I just started playing this game again this year on my xbox series x. I still find active lobbies with dozens of players doing co-op campaign! Capcom needs to remaster this game.

I literally played this game so much that my ps3 got the yellow light of death.

Lost Planet 2's coop was so good and so much. One of the absolute highlights of the Xbox 360! You could play through the various chapters of the campaign in co-op as well as a bunch of different and varied arenas for pvp. You could also unlock a host of different weapons for your online loadout as well as cosmetics! A lot of the memories of the specific implementation details have faded, but what remains is a lot of great memories playing a fun game with friends. Thanks for brings some of those memories back.

This is easily one of my favorite PS3 games. Had so much fun with friends

The biggest crime for this game is the unwillingless of Capcom to save it from GFWL. This game is a co op masterpiece.

I bought the boss arena mode on 360 and got a data post outfit, and when you do emotes you turn into a data post, truly perfect.

I loved lost planet 1 and was devestated when they went the coop route cuz I had no one to play with

IMO Lost planet have the potential to comeback as a free 2 play and this is the potential i see. 1 make a map suitable for a battle royal but.... 2 here its the catch the map it self can be used for traditional matches , i mean for example a pier in the south can be 1 map , a ruined city in the center another one and so on. and with traditional i mean team deadmatch, domination and so on 3 the mechs and if the buildings are destroyable even better 4 the hook movility its unique 5 coop modes against the Akrids , even they can spawn in normal rounds on every mode , just sayin and well thats just my opinion

A timeless game, Easily one of my all time favorites. And I never even took it online in its hayday (however that might have been) a blast that keeps on giving

One of the many reasons I love this game is that the loot boxes unlocked new weapons you can use during the campaign making replaying the campaign really enjoyable because you always had new stuff to play with. I am so glad this game will never hit mainstream popularity because of how unplayable it currently is.

This game is so much fun. The guns felt so damn good and the giant akrid fights are the best. To this day one of my favorite co op experiences. Capcom makes some questionable decisions at times but occasionally they really hit with the co op stuff. As far as modern co op games, Exoprimal and EDF have been the only other games that have come close to the fun I've had playing with strangers and friends alike.

God I miss this game so much. I would kill for a remaster or a port.

You can shoot grenades to expand the explosive radius and increase damage. Try using grenade II as an anti-tank shotgun the slow arc is perfect for hitting it out of the air and it already does more damage. It rocks.

use to play this back around maybe 10 years ago, me an my brother co-oped the whole game. At it's time it was amazing truly! Just pickedd it up again a few months ago

Lost Planet 2 might make a comeback in 2025, with Capcom adding several delisted steam games included with GFWL. LP2 is being updated on Steamdb as well, making changes to the script. They also acknowledged LP1's anniversary 👀

That game was fire the multi-player and co op was insane as well.

This game is so good. To bad it wasnt as big as the first.

4:43 PC did the salamander fight arena dirty, the atmosphere of this level on 360 is dark and stormy, which looks oddly great to this day. I love this game's graphics :)

Its made to be played in co op there's a lot of weapons and mechanics that involve other other players helping do co op actions like the shield sp that turns into a massive cannon with other players also the quick time events are unique to each player and don't need to be done correctly this game allows you to fail qtes with minimal consequence(the first one you'll lose a life if you fail) Great game wish it wasn't such a pain in the ass to play on pc. Spoilers here..... also that weird biome change stuff is because of the first game the whole point was to make the planet more habitable (those little pylons you activate were a part of it) instead of a frozen wasteland and 2 ends with it being even more habitable now that thermal energy is everywhere.

Talk about a blast from the past game. Lost Planet as a franchise really got screwed over by Capcom's decline more than their other IPs, with 3 being a bit of a mess, but also having so much of the lore of what happened before the 1st game in it since it's a prequel. Was not a fan of the removal of the VS's from that game and it's replacement with a mining rig, but i get what they were going for narratively.

Back when this game came out I couldn't stop playing it because I just loved it. It was so weird and so awesome at the same time. 2 Years ago I bought a key and had to deal with the Windows live pains to get it working, worth it

Bro those Lost Planet 2 keys prices really made me spit out my dr pepper. Each Lost Planet hold a special place in my heart. Loved the atmosphere of the first game and loved the weird pvp mode in 3.
