Route 84: St.Alban's St.Peter's Street - Potters Bar Station
A journey on one of Sullivans E400 towards Potters Bar, this one and E54 has a very nice ZF, Unfortunately this broke down not far from Potters Bar and ended up losing power on part of the sections twice, despite the driver trying to get it going again.

I don't know if it's the axles or the weird diff sound coming from the engine. It sound similar to Metroline TE1574 that had the same noise. One of Sullivans oldest Trident still going strong. E61 is known for its limp acceleration but Sullivans have seem to fix it with better acceleration. It sounds like the ad blue is a bit lower than it was last year. The gearbox may be a bit louder now, though. I didn't know its kickdown was working. I wonder if E54's works, too. It was also limping when I last saw it, but a bit more than E60 here.
You’re right. The end of this year is December 31st 2024 and today is the 31st of July 2024, 5 months away before it’s over, especially with the uploading bit… Currently just 4-5, and no more than 4 LK08’s, are remaining still in service in London after some most of the LK08’s were withdrawn except they’re non-TFL, and one example is ex Metroline TE885, now Sullivan E60, as LK08DXX.

Nice one! Not an great lover of Enviro 400s post 2009. However I have an soft spot for exceptional performers like this one. I believe this one is one of the best ADEs in the batch. Was very impressed when I rode this on on 142 when RATP had the route.
Yeah it is one of the best performances. I've heard ADE73 or ADE40473 whatever they call it is a rocket.

E64 is now sadly withdrawn due to an accident. This and E61 are the last tridents you'll get working the 298 :/ great video though man

Thanks Yes E64 had a crash everything is damaged at South Mimms. E60 and E62 to non-tfl services and E61 is left in London fleet so E61 & E63 left in tfl services. I edited the description as I forgot to add some info.

Yooo nice video but I read your description. Do what you love, dont force it for the people. I understand life can get you to the point where you feel like theres no more opportunity but trust me there always is, you gotta look for more options. Take time to pause sometimes and take a break and think out life abit so that the stress doesn't overlap you. Even if you stop here your channel has done very well over the years, so people like me will always rewatch your old videos. And trust me your effort does show in your videos and with how many videos and how long you've done this filming for over the years.

I agree. For this bus, it’s not a thing of the past for Sullivan, but when it matters the most, when WVL8 made its return from February 2024, now LF52UOW is the only LF52. Could that get withdrawn soon from this year or even… 2025? It’s still unknown - still yet to be known to find out.
Fantastic video. Yes and WVL8 and WVL1 are the only 2 WVL’s in the whole of London now. These could get withdrawn soon this year, next year or any year, which is soon. In fact LF52UOW is the ONLY LF52! WVL204 was preserved. WVL5 was no longer WVL5, it got renamed to VLW85 again and got preserved from 2023 of November with Children in Need for Wood Green’s running day and Spring Gathering. LF52UPV’s life was almost like LF52USU (VLW80) except we don’t see it now. 2 LX59’s left at Sullivan, except DS54, and we’ve also got only 5 LJ09’s on the whole of TFL service: from E40 to E44. I do miss these after all.
