Technically one could make an argument for Matilda AKA Empress Maud before she was defeated by Stephen who took the crown back (The so-called Anarchy). Likewise, there's also an argument for Jane Grey the 9 Day Queen as she was Edward VI's choice to be his sucessor. But Mary was the first true Queen regnant in her own right. So, I guess that's OK. Tip: it'd be more of a challenge if the portraits didn't accompany the questions.

I am not British or English and are not familiar with their pictures yet scored 10/10 due to a good memory and love of historical facts.
