The video says to torque the bolts to 59ft lb, but the instructions say to torque to 79ft lbs. Is this video correct?

Just ordered a set for my 2011 WRX. I've moved to an area that is all B roads, gravel, rain and snow. (dusty in the summers) It was either weathertech or Husky weatherbeaters, and I went with Weathertech for the vanity sake of being able to add a custom logo in the decal spot. Nice to see a video explaining the thought process behind their product.

This is a comment about the WeatherTech and its website, not the WeatherTech liners. Based on recommendation of a friend I went to the WeatherTech website and ordered a set of liners. I answered the questions of what type of car, transmission, and the type of fasteners (round or oval) that connect the front mats to the floor. Turns out WeatherTech decided to not make mats for manual transmissions, but instead of indicating that, the website led me to believe I was ordering front and rear mats when it had substituted only rear mats. WeatherTech is allowing me to return the unneeded rear mats. But what disappointments me the most is WeatherTech's claim there is not enough demand to make mats for VWs with manual transmissions. Forgetting the issue of why the manual transmission mats need to be different than the automatic mats, the same mats are used in every 2006 through 2009 VW Golf, Rabbit, GTI, Golf R, Jetta Sedan, and Jetta Sportwagen. I can't believe there is not enough demand when we are talking over a million cars with manual transmissions.

i have them for my jeep 2014 grand Cherokee i was disappointed the passenger side is not molded nicely it dose not fit perfect and the paddges logos will come out after some time and the rubber is not that good i will not buy it for my next car it is not accurately made for my car i dont know about other models

He said putting a cold air induction doesn't increase horse power? Well I do notice a difference not to mention air flow going through drinking up gas over 5000 RPMs big time which didn't cause that on stock. What does the stock air box look like? I didn't look at it when it was on. I guess I don't have to tune my truck since its tuning itself? Yeah I put that Orion Performance manifold on it and I don't have that leak anymore. The previous manifold which was stock had burn marks on it is what I was told, I knew it did. The engine sounds and works better for a 3.7l engine. Im still thinking about finding someone that can tune it anyways for economy. I would do it myself and just buy the little tuner but I don't know jack shit about automotives. Any different from overclocking a computer?

I am not sure why the public ever accepted the out door carpet as the only idea for a interior of an automobile. If i had a choice i would never buy a vehicle with carpet. It is strange that consumers and manufactures still go with this in the 21 century and there is no other choice. Weathertech is leading the future for sure with Digital fit as every other mat out there is total crap. I desperately want the Digital fit it in my 03 RAV Toyota but cannot get. I guess i have to make my own or go with spray in Rhino liner.

Love my Weathertech floor liners they are a great product and this video is informative, but that Dude is seriously boring!

you must go in before hand and loosen all those bolts. just today we tried doing this very thing and nothing was that easy. we went and got an impact wrench and still could not get off the bolts. our xterra is brand new and we got it a couple of months ago.

Multiple design flaws I have found with this product. For what you pay for this product, they need to do a better job.

I think it's great other than............I don't like how it doesn't fully cover teh dead pedal on many. And on the right side say of the drivers it doesn't cover the carpet up further. In case your foot touches there and you get salt and mud on the carpets.
