@abhaysinghVirdi2389 For Windows 10 Guest VM, Minimum of 1GB Ram and 20 GB HDD space is required. For the Host OS, you would need to have at least 4 GB of Ram, CPU with Virtualization support (Intel i3, i5, i7, i9 all works), 30 GB of Free space on disk, and Virtualization should be enabled on the Bios.
@@praveenshivkumar thanks for the response need to understand if I want to create a test sccm enviornment with 1 dc 1 sccm and 2 client machines Should I go for 32 gb ram or 64 and if I talk about the processor would a old i7 of gen 8,9,10 would work or should I go for something new
If you are focusing on SCCM testing, then yes. That should be fine Host Machine with Windows 10 / 11. Should take 2 to 3 Gb Ram AD-VM - 1 Gb Ram SCCM-VM - 4 Gb Ram 2 Windows 10/11 client machines - 2 GB Ram each The i7 processor should be fine. But make sure you have SSD hard disk with at least 512 GB of Storage. This is a must as Disk IO will be high due to multiple VMs on the system.
