I just unplugged it. No need to remove yellow wire. It's my vehicle so the mirrors are in the position I already need them to be in. I never adjust my side mirrors that's a one and done situation nor do I use the fold in feature

Yes, this is a greatly helpful video post. However, I spent over an hour trying to get the yellow wire unplugged. I watched this video several times and others that showed how to depin a connector. I initially used an exacto knife, just like the video, but must admit my aged eyes (73) are weak. So, I couldn't really see the white tab that was mentioned. After several attempts, I retrieved eyeglasses, a magnifying glass, and a bright light. I didn't have a depinning tool to try rather than the exacto knife, nor did I have a tiny screwdriver on hand. Other videos suggested using a bobby pin, which I was able to find, but it was just slightly too wide for this use. Finally, one video suggested using two L-shaped staples for a particular connector type. While that didn't apply to this situation, it did lead me to try using one of the staples to bend back the white tab I was finally able to see clearly with all my seeing aids. That worked! The white tab was snug against the metal connector and had to be pushed toward the tab side of the connector (as shown in your video). As you said in the video, it didn't take much pressure, but the staple had to be positioned carefully to contact the white tab. Once that was done, the yellow wire moved out easily - with the exception that mine wouldn't come all the way out because all the wires going into the connector had been taped close to the connector. Therefore, I had to bend the yellow wire or cut the tape. I just bent the yellow wire enough to get it all the way out. Once the white tab was pushed out a little and the wire began to come out, it was no longer secured and extraction was just a matter of getting the wire to be able to move. One final note is that I didn't realize that the flat plate on the connector was loose. When I popped it away from the connector, it flew off and into the console no longer to be seen. The mirrors are still adjustable, and the retractable feature is disabled. Should you want to improve your video, take a closeup of the white tab inside the connector that must be lifted to remove the pin. Thanks a lot for the help.

Thank you!!! My 2004 has 153,000 miles on it and the mirrors have lasted until this year. Couldn't find a fuse to pull that wouldn't kill other items. The noise had tripled in volume over the last week, driving me crazy, so I found your video, de-pinned the yellow wire and problem solved!!

late by 3 years, but I fixed it in my goggles by going to configuration tab, and activating "oled display" or "display" depending on the version of betaflght.

Sure glad I found this because I thought I was going to have to pull off the entire silver coverplate. I am still not sure how you got the switch out but I have all the care repair tools to fix/repair other parts.

I use the cargo carrier that slips into a hitch. That way the gasoline stays on the outside of the vehicle, you can also buy jerrycans With a screw down lid, no fumes !

Sear is broken, how do I fix it

I just spent hours working on this and finally got it to work. I have a speedybee f7 stack v3 and the caddx vista. In the speedbee app (I assume similar to betaflight) I changed uart1 to MSP and uart2 to serial rx. BOOM I have OSD in my googles and they are no longer in low power state.

This is incredibly helpful. Thanks! My 2005 Sequoia is now 18 years old (about 190,000 miles on the odometer). I'm into finding inexpensive workarounds for minor stuff that has given way to age. This is definitely one of them. This vehicle has been so reliable for so long, it's a matter of pride (and economy) to keep it going. I have read it can go 300,000 miles. It'll be a race between me and the car to the grave! Thanks again.

Thank for the usefull vid. Did you check if te switches were actually broken? Mine were not but they were not actuated anymore because of wear on the button. Put a dab of epoxy on them, works fine. I did not remove the display and managed the flat cable back in using some right angle needle pliers with some dried glue for sticktion. Was not expecting the display to be accessible from the front so thanks for that pointer So in te first comment you state xmitter does not work properly? What went wrong?

Put your Rx and TX on RX1 tx1 it will work unless your diodes are blown

Is this just local law in Oregon or is this a federal level bill? Either way I can't believe that the idea of post birth abortion exists ANYWHERE within the Western World! I have family in the UK and in Germany and even the twisted idea of allowing a baby to die after birth isn't something that's even spoken of in the EU or the Former British Empire. I had same problem/ Change cable and etc. but nothing working. And finally I decided to change one air unit to another - and it's working, but on another dron - not. So the problem with the unit.
