And this is still around in 2024. I’d never heard of them before this video.

'I don't feel guilty about anything' Watch that one
If the people talking are real and not actors than it just leaves me some questions. I know CPS wasn't the best back than but, when it comes to a child losing their own eye due to their alcoholic parent(s), you'd think a judge would've put that child in foster care faster than you can say "Go!".
>If the people talking are real and not actors It seems they are not professional actors, but are repeating rehearsed "lines".

Nice video ,always old school teaching better ,because the teacher has passion and love to teach properly then the country building skill workers. Like few years ago in the USA and South America..⚙ 🛠 🔍⚽ From CANADA.
1) The very first thing which surprised me was the method of NOT GO BUTTON, to accurately find the size of gage blocks need. Also, how perfectly and accurately the blocks glide on each other that feels like there is actually just one big gage block. The thing which i did not expected to see in a this old video was the number of instruments which were used measure the perfect accuracy with all aspects like height, width, tolerance, with other specific instruments and the cleaning method of blocks with the carbo tetrachloride. 2) The thing that is still same in present time is the accuracy of gage blocks while manufacturing the new ones. Also the number of instruments used to clarify that the measurement is not changed, however in old times measurements were all manual which might have human error while nowadays all precision measuring instruments are electric which have almost zero errors. For getting perfect results the gauge block are kept in the gauge rooms in order to maintain the temperature, humidity, and cleanliness are held as well. gauge blocks are kept in the gauge blocks and noticeably, there are 81 different size gauge blocks in the boxes. Meanwhile, all blocks are made of standard material and having well finishing for getting accurate result. While performing with blocks, it is inevitable to wipe the blocks with clothes. Interestingly, in the video, there is a crystal clear example of fine blocks, as the blocks can stick together with each other owing to inter molecular particles and well finishing.

Awesome. Still educating after several decades. That is one hell of a ROI.
Thanks for posting this. The colour is grand. I'm taking this on. Minus all the glasses of milk. Just in me cuppa.
This is how it should be - simple and avoiding fad diets.
Would like to see the whole film
You may know this particular 16mm print is spliced, but at least the audio‘s not decayed or warped. Plus it’s has great picture and sound quality for 1974.
Nice find.
Can i have it if its ok

I’m continually sober since 6/26/1981; 40+ years of sobriety. It is the only way to live. Alcoholics Anonymous has saved my life. GOD has saved my life. Sobriety is a way of living one day at a time in reality.
This was the first of Castle's Christmas releases; it was available in their catalogs for only one year. The suggested retail price was $17.50 (if you owned a 16mm sound projector).
Good informative movie. It's very much like today. The information given is still relevant. Calories in calories out. As a somewhat obese male at almost 29 years old and an old soul, this movie is quite invaluable, despite it's chronological age. It has helped me through my weight/fat loss journey which I've been doing for almost 6 years. I love the 1950s. Unfortunately, this is a super rare color copy of the movie with some damage but it still awesome to watch! 😃
I think the polnish diet is more healthy than american or german diet cuz we wasnt eat a lot of meat before 90s .
Thank you so much it's such a good one,,,am humbled and I have learnt indeed,,Bravo

I have found little information if Rod Serling himself was a heavy drinker. The information I have found suggests that Serling did indeed drink, such as accounts of his heart disease mention alcohol in addition to his obvious nicotine addiction.
Thank you! This is a G&E shaper.. I can tell by the controls! I just got a 16” universal table G&E and am learning to operate it. This was extremely useful..
Any idea on the year this was created?

Hmmmmmm.... the hob from up to down.... I do it differently. What are the pros vs cons of doing it up to down?.
Milling from top to bottom used to be common due to the backlash in the leadscrews. Milling from bottom to top would require a climb cut device to counteract this backlash. Nowadays, on modern cnc hobbing machines, this problem no longer exists because these machines have no backlash, so it is usually more common to mill from bottom to top (climb cut). BUT there are some cases where cutting from top to bottom is still used in modern gear manufacturing.
Life before the Chinese mini lathe! Pretty cool vid!
This is missing from the modern education system.
Cant believe Rod is so famous and talented but and when he Do something to help people, the same people that admire him just ignore him. Millions have this problem. Only couple of thousands of views. Incredible
Shashank sir too OP
no sound at all
After watching this, it is very easy to see the connection between manual and CNC machining, these machines are CNC in all but name, in fact with the combined cutting feature, I can see how these machines can be even faster than some modern CNCs!! Thanks for the video!
Sober 13 years now
Great!
Congratulations!! 🎉 May you be sober forever! Alcohol is the most dangerous drug in the World. Scientifically determined that the only safe level of alcohol consumption for optimal health is ZERO DRINKS A DAY!! There is no problem in the universe that can in the universe be improved by drinking alcohol. Sobriety is the way to go!!
Rod is the best
