My diagnosis of oropharnygeal cancer at the base of my tongue led to a treatment plan with 35 radiation sessions and 6 chemo Therapy sessions. This video was recorded after 28 radiation sessions, and I will learn tomorrow if my chemotherapy specialist plans to extend the chemo treatment schedule. Voice and singing samples are included in each vlog.

The treatment for oropharyngeal cancer is going well. Next week I will have a CT scan and the radiation will be adjusted to sharply focus on any remaining tumours. Side effects of the treatment are becoming more pronounced, and I am experimenting with ways to deal with them.

Just in case anyone from Madoc who was in Grade 9 or 10 in1962 at Madoc High School, (the year of the construction of the new school) I was 22 and I taught you Math and Science. I remember most of you, and often wonder Where you are and what you are doing. I am now 84!

HI! how cute is your harp :) for some strange reason, seeing your videos, I got curious and bought a harp very similar to this one... I was wondering, since they are actually "toys" (real harps are expensive unattainable), can they be played like the lyre harp? I have a two-octave one and I saw on another video that a lady replaced the harp strings with those of the lyre and the sound was completely changed, making it much warmer and more engaging. I was wondering, by putting on gut ones, will the sound change even more, resembling a quality one? could you give me some advice to improve the sound? Unfortunately I don't like it at the moment.
