It's a pretty powerful move so I love using Storm's Fury. Even without materia, it's pretty insane 😄

@ Happened to me several times to be caught off guard and have to parry his charge at such close range and rarely manage to parry 4 times in a row. Your technique is interesting and unique. Didn't look that easy to do.😀

@@Dante-7-7-7 I usually use Odin to practice if I feel rusty so I suppose so lol. I’m even using Odin to learn Cait Sith believe it or not 🙃

@@Bayesic Yuffie in the video has Corsair’s Compass equipped. After using five different commands, the character with the compass equipped receives 3 ATB bars.

The Midgardsormr on hard mode sure is a step up from any difficulty below it. I know it wasn't easy for me either when I first tried it on hard mode 😅. Hopefully the timings do help out a bit for when you attempt it in your winter season.

@Fennekin-wl8ul I've always been good when it comes to mimicking certain things. Mimicking battle motions in video games that's a first for me. But I'm literally practicing. Not to sound like a parrot 😁

@@squall846 Thanks! It was definitely the hardest Cloud story boss without any materia so far. It’s difficult because the speed of headbutt and feast. I had to retry so many times because of those moves 😅 But it was still fun because I did appreciate the difficulty.

It's definitely Advent-Children-esque lol. The aerial combat in Rebirth sure is an improvement over Remake's. I don't blame you though. I spammed Blizzaga when I started hard mode too 😂

@@shienrunwong3826 I used the HP-MP Materia. Parrying with it on builds the limit bar very quickly 🙂

It's a little exploit that I learned from RE_Prince_Vegeta (another FF7 Rebirth challenge runner) 😄

@@sounddreamer685 Thanks! 😊 I figured that since I can play Aerith better now, I thought it was possible to do it with Fury Ring. I’m glad that the run can be performed much faster since it took me like 6 minutes in my previous attempt.

It requires proper timing when it comes to perfect parrying/blocking. It takes a lot of practice to know when to start blocking 🙂

Same here! She is a lot of fun to use even without materia imo. She really improved a lot from Remake to Rebirth as far as her moveset goes 😄

You noticed that! 😄 I thought it would be faster to do that instead of running away. Since I was trying to make this a speed run, I figured it was easier to get away from his attacks that way.

@ it’s lowkey a brilliant tech as an extra safety measure for party members with sad dodges and slowest running skills like Aerith and Barret while utilizing passive folio spells that are still underused and less understood in the community

@ I meant I made a faster run than previously. This took 3 minutes, a run with the medal took 4 mins and 17 secs and my run from months ago took like 6 minutes and 17 secs My fault if that came out unclear. I’m saying that I played better than months ago 😅

Most this run was possible due to RNG tbh 😅. I did so many runs of this and I accidentally did too much damage. Then I'd have to start over because I didn't stagger Odin before temporal imprisonment 🙃. But yeah, soul drain at the end helps out a lot since Odin always has health leftover.
