I was out for a run, came round a corner on the bit of the East Lothian coast that looks like cornwall, and it was wall to wall seals... I grabbed a few clips - I'm not David Attenborough, that's for sure.

On my commute to work, I have lights, lots of them, I have hi-viz, I have a reflect 350 jacket, but most of all I have good reflexes and excellent brakes. I wish White Van Man did.

One hour in the life of the pond on campus - there's an enormous amount going on, but you'll need to look, the critters are well camoflaged. A few "highlights" - it takes until 3:12 for the critters to recover from the indignity of the camera dunk and the first newt pops it head up, at 21:30 there's a great shot of one of the female newts feeding, and at 25:25 there's a bit of a scrum.
