I use the plastic bags, that you can’t roll the air out of and lay everything flat. Not rolling or folding

I made this today and HAD to see someone else make it. It was my last meal too. And it needed sooo much help idk i did not add the juice from the beans and doubled the garlic with butter added mad seasonings a vegetable Goya pack and vegetable stock instead of water it came out really good but I don’t like that much improvisation… like what if I didn’t have shit to add 😕

There are compression packing cubes with double zippers. Maybe cut back on jeans , heavier items. Use pockets on underseater , side mesh pocket for shoes, toiletries in front pocket?

Hi - I just happened upon this video. I see you had what looked like jeans. Dump the jeans and get thin fabric pants that don't rumple. In fact, try to purchase thin tops and thin dresses that you like that don't rumple. They will be easy to wash in a sink and dry quick if you have a balcony. And yes you will still have to pack less clothes. Considering this was put out in the summer, you have so many options of clothing. But don't even think about this for the winter! :)

You messed up using cubes I always use my underseat bag and bring just as much if not more than you did but I just roll them and put them in the bag packing cubes take up to much space

There's a way to do this...and this is not it. Lol

It seemed you had way too many bottoms for the number of tops. My rule of thumb is to pack half (if not 3x) as many bottoms as tops and the tops have to "go with" all the bottoms. Don't pack an outfit per day, but rather plan on wearing the bottoms multiple times. I did not see your outerlayers (jackets, sweaters) or shoes packed either. Electronics take space as well. Basically, you need to pare down your wardrobe to accommodate these needs. Realize that no one is going to judge you on your fashion choices when on vacation. Most photos will be of your top half only (so don't worry about multiple repeats on the bottoms). I've done multiple trips with the underseat carry-on for up to 2 weeks. You just can't worry about being a fashionista! Worry more about versatility and being comfortable. I did appreciate your minimal skin-care and makeup packing needs.

Thank you for your honesty. It takes practice and understanding who you are when you travel. For years I overpacked. Now, I only pack in 16" under-seater luggage for 3-5 day trips and a 19" carry-on for 1-2 weeks. Light weight fabrics are a must. Really miniaturizing your toiletries and makeup is really important. And honestly, you never really wear all your shoes on short trips. Once you've done that, keep practicing. You'll surprise yourself.

You really just saved my life omg , and i like that you didn't use a whole bunch of products . I just washed and blow dryer my hair and didn't want to do that all over again after attempting this .

I’ve noticed that packing cubes are only good for keeping larger suitcases organized (carry-on and larger), not really practical for “personal item” sized bags. Vacuum storage bags are best for over packers using personal item sized bags. (Fellow overpacker here lol…and I love packing cubes btw)

Good try. Next time take less clothes by trying a capsule wardrobe and try compression bags. I’m able to pack 2 weeks in my underseater by using compression bags.

maybe could change into compression packing cube, or that ziplock back that you roll to compress, pushing the air out?

Definitely would fit but u really got to pack it in tightly. I used to use zip lock bags to squeeze the air out right. However when I used packaging cubes I realize I can still squeeze air out the fabric is very light and breathable. Maybe try ziplock bags inside the packing cubes until u figure out your own system. I have 2 kids and a husband and I have packed all of our items including extra shoes only using personal bags and carry on bags. You really need to trial and error a few times. Also a duffle bag works better and is cheaper. Or any bag you may already have that is flexible. As long as the measurements follow the airline restrictions you will be fine! 👍🏻

You NEVER use a large cube in a carry on or personal item! The idea is to roll really tightly and neatly into a cube that contains and compresses the clothing so the volume is reduced so then you can fit more into a smaller space... by using a cube far too big you might as well have not used one at all! This gave me real anxiety lol! next time stack your bras folding one cup in on itself and stack them, then fold and roll you panties really tightly and stack them inside the cup of the top bra in the stack and use a ziplock bag just big enough to fit it in and remove the air! so it is a third of the size of that cube you have there! use a small cube for vests ,cami tops and small t shirts fold to the length or width of the cube and make a row of tops until you fill one layer and then fill in the top so the entire cube is full up and you need to push it down a bit to close and repeat the process using ex sml, sml and med cubes but never use that big one for anything accept storage at home or moving house etc ... using the strong ziplock bags that come with clothes and other items is a brilliant way to pack, the flatter and least volume each item can be the better it is for packing! remove the air of items that don't crease ...You MUST put all liquids in a clear ziplock bag for security! you are not allowed that huge jar for hand luggage! It shows clearly why you should never have packed in that huge cube when you tried to pack it was painful to watch ... why didn't you repack and do it properly as this is embarrasing! try this again using the correct methods and i am certain you can fit it in ... well i could LMAO!
