The build I have for Katalina is: Her awakening sigil, overdrive assasin, 4x DMG cap V, 3x Supplementary DMG V, Combo booster V+ with nimble onslaught, Critical DMG V+ with nimble onslaught and War Elemental. You can remove war elemental as BahaV doesn't have a weakness and replace it with either critical boost or a defensive sigil. For skills I focused purely on using attack skills to keep Ares up as long as possible for maximum dps

Do you think 3 supp dmg sigils is overkill? Considering most our dps is during ares and our sigil already gives us supp dmg with ares out.

it stacks, but 3 of them are indeed overkill, people overestimate sup dmg, even with 3 sigils it's a 20% dmg gain for 3 sigil slots, thats just insanity, I often run 1-2, at 2 you have already a 74% chance iirc so adding the third is a bit of a slap in the face, every defensive sigil which adds the benefit of not needing to stop attacking provides a bigger damage gain, like capping her life at 44999 or stout heart which provides a 30% dmg reduction by itself@@Regianldo56

I cannot tell you how many tries it took to get this clear lol. If I did this again, I'd try my best to break Baha before final DPS phase as you do a little bit less dmg when Baha is in overdrive form. Either way thanks a bunch for watching, I appreciate it!

I'm working on one right now just need a couple more things to test so i can finalize my thoughts on kat as a whole. easiest way to lookcat it tho is you have a few options with kat. Pure DpS like is shown here where you treat her like any other dps, slam dmg cap sigils, war element while retaining her nessicary sigils like cascade and quick cooldown. and then tankier versions of that where you take out a dmg cap and slot in Aegis or other defensive sigils. or a more traditional support where you have improved healing, potion hoarder and pray your teamates arent running life on the line so you can still heal them.....its becoming increasingly popular on people who like to die cause they think their the mc and are invincible and that dmg is all that matters.

when ares gauge is full and ares is summoned, your unique attack has a 5 hit combo, you need to activate a damage skill, link attack, or SBA at any point before that combo ends to reset the combo and continue mashing unique attack.

Once you have the Ares gauge full and you start to go into your ares combo normally ares goes away once you finish the pactstrike combo. We extend this by using a skill to keep him out, after the skill is finished you can go into another pactstrike combo. Rinse and repeat that for all your attack skills. If you have enough cooldowns through casscade and her character sigils, you technically can have ares up infinitely as long as you're hitting things. Thanks for watching! I'm definitely trying to get the whole roster able to solo BahaV. The fight and the damage gates are always super fun and get me hyped when I break the damage gates.

im going to guarantee not even 5% of the playerbase will attempt a solo versa let alone a solo versa with a char they dont deam a dps like kat, it is hard for most people to even think of attempting let alone actually doing mate.

What do you mean kat isn’t a dps hero? The only build is the dps build. Anyone who builds support or tank is just being dead weight. Considering the only good buffs are stout heart and damage cut (kat, rosetta, gran/djeeta) and everyone basically has a CC skill. Everyone is basically at damage cap so attack buffs are useless. Anyone who isn’t a casual or brainless is already running potion hoarder + auto res or guts. So healing supports are also useless. We’d much rather you do more than 10% of the boss’ goddamn hp than buffing us with useless shite - I’m looking at you, Cagliostro mains. And, sorry, but no, BahaV solo isn’t hard. BahaV solo SUB 10mins is the challenge people are doing. This guy is off to a great start but now needs to optimise to get sub 10min kill.

Also in Japan, they aren’t using BahaV as the skill test. It’s the maglielle, Gallanza tag team fight. Do like the asians and be a man and fight the real fight that tests not only your dps but your ability to gank fight and maintain good rotation.

Anyway... @taichiarasoi776 didn't say Kat wasn't a dps hero - they said people don't deem her a dps character, which is true (devs themselves didn't class her as dps), so just relax with the outrage. Please go online and grab 10 random people and have them share their solo run of BahaV - they probably won't have one. @@dexterwalters844 where did I condescend? I congratulated the dude for clearing bahaV. The devs also didn’t expect damage cap to be such a hindrance making support builds useless, so here we are. Devs intended support classes to buff damage and heal. Does that change the fact offensive buffs are useless? No. Does that change the fact healing skills are useless? No. Not when they have potion hoarder in the game. Like I said, clear as day, he did well to clear bahaV. I have cleared bahaV on kat and eugen. But not sub 10mins - which is the goal of many people here in japan. So I’m not gonna post something if it isn’t up to par with my fellow elitist gamers. The moment I do get my sub 10, you shall be the first to know xoxo. But don’t get defensive just because you can’t do it. And yes, i can easily go on randoms here in japan and find a full lobby of ascended players with capped damage and builds with maxed out supplementary damage. Most boss fights here, proto bahamut, pyet-A, blackwyrm, whitewyrm. Last on average 1-2mins. Because we aren’t crybabies like you are. My gosh, your ‘I am god and shall judge you’ vibe reeks!
