I find the Forager works really well solo with the seat installed in the back...and a load. 1000 pound limit gives you room for lots of stuff!

would it be possible to load 2 bikes on top of the Oryx?
Yes it is possible, its success will depend on your strapping technique. I have seen it done with two frames on the bow, and both of the removed tires on the stern behind the back paddler.
@@mt.waddingtonsoutdoors1184 alright good to know, and an excellent idea putting the frames and front wheels on different ends. What I might have in mind is stuffing the bikes into transport bags and then strap them on. But i will see about that. Thank you very much for the extremely useful reply. Sam, I wished you had a video on how to get in the Mule raft. I am not very graceful in getting in and getting out of the raft. Can you make one that shows how to get in and get out... and then most importantly shove off from the beach. When I get in, I drag on the ground and I can't push off the sand and rocks, due to my weight.
Nice! Was literally paddling here (sun one day; pure fog the next) in my Explorer 42. Fits my wife and I for short trips (e.g a hour or two), but usually on my own. We love it. Have been considering a Caribou as an another addition to the fleet. Just a little smaller and lighter for some solo alpine trips.

Ok then I've made my decision... It will be both.
I have the forager and been trying the K pump but I feel like I’m over inflating even with this check valve.
Is the k mini worth packing in though in your opinion?
Could you put the inflatable raised seat in the front forager?

I would love to see a video of you removing/installing deck, maintenance of zippers and your opinion/experience so far with the removable deck.
