This is very accurate. The FSD in snow deactivates on every stop sign and stop light. It will be okay on highway but any slight slip on tires and traction control engagement disables it.

When you changed your tires, did you purchase exact same tires it had? Was Tesla ok with whatever kind of tires? I’m returning mine in 5 months. Thinking about buying new tires before returning

Misleading video. Thats with every lease. Never leased tesla but i leased audi, bmw, infinit and they all have the same thing. End of lease you will be charged for damages. Not just tesla, dont scare people with this video for no reason. Ive been leasing for 20 years. If theres any damages then im gonna teach you a trick - got to body shop get it for cheap price instead of paying tesla for the repair ( which willl cost 3 times more) then return the lease. Presumed that you preheated the battery for each charge event. If so, this kept the battery quite warm for most of your trip - wasted heat bc of your “frequent” charging stops. Also heat pump is less efficient when it’s well below freezing, so your energy dedicated to cabin as well as battery heat was high. Cabin heat required is way less in the 2nd (and successive) hour(s) of a trip vs the first. It appears that battery precondition is what hurt your efficiency the most. Another thing to consider - cold winter air is much denser than warm summer air, and this difference (along with driving speed) really matters to a super efficient EV. Must drive slower in cold air to preserve some efficiency.

NCA is better for winter driving. Impact on range mostly comes from heating, so Higland model 3 with heat pump and NCA battery will probably only lose 10-15% range in winter.

I hate to tell you, that range is about right for my Model Y Performance 2025. That is in 20 to 30 degree temps in Oregon USA.

I have a 2022 Tesla Y bought at the end of NOV 2021 and I charge it at home, whenever it goes lower than 100 miles, and I charge it at 95% and no degrade still… and from time to time I charge it to 100%… and still kicking…. I know its still a new car but I’ve heard some people own their teslas for the last 10 years and the battery life is at 95%, some other says its at 90%. So… I think you can charge your tesla at 100% or 95% or 90%…. I think all depends on how often you charge your tesla, not about how much percentage you charge it… just saying… I think people should STOP scaring people about this topic… its irritating

I purchased my RWD Model Y with a LFP battery made by CATL because they are idiot proof. Leaving them at 100% on a level 1 or 2 plug will not hurt the battery. LFP batteries are what you find in grid level or home storage. They are super safe and full charge won't hurt them. Read your tesla manual. Preheat with the app. on cold days before you leave home. Leave the car plugged in when ever possible the on board charger will take care of the battery. The car will not let you run the battery to Zero because it's idiot proof! Cleaner watt has a much better review of LFP batteries.

For the charge limiter (even though I don’t own a vehicle), I would generally recommend setting it to 60 - 75%, but that is optional. And I would also recommend not supercharging, as that would hasten the battery’s degradation, leading to less miles over time. Possible solutions: 120V Tesla Mobile Connector Charge Limit to 60 - 75% Try to avoid supercharging if possible (supercharge only in emergencies or use your Tesla’s Mobile Connector)
