New vs Used Hot Tub
Просмотров 10 тыс.3 года назад
In This video we take a look at the value of a used hot tub with repairs vs buying a brand new hot tub.
Great info Bro
Your wife looks great in that hot tub👍🏼
Love fake boobies lol 😂😂😂. Thx for the vid
Came all this way to see her and was totally worth it ..sub..and liked haha
dont buy used, the warranty alone that comes with a new one is worth it
Poor poor Beautiful spruce tree 😢 lol
Haha it’s so funny, so many people have said the same thing! It was a shame pulling it down but we used if for firewood a year later
bought our tub off of Facebook.I wanted one for many years. We spent a bit more than what i wanted to but was exactly what i dreamed of.Only 2 years old and found out it was a $10k tub when new and I paid $5300!Top of the line tub with foot jets, steel frame, plastic pan, etc. The one thing that even i was surprised at was and is the details to get one up and running correctly. We put down concrete in the spot for it under a deck.Did this myself along with a concrete friend.Cost of that 15'x12' pad was roughly $1k.all rebar and 4-5" thick. Then came the electrical.A 240v hot tub needs 6 gauge wire along with a gfci breaker box outside. This was roughly another $750 just in parts.I did the electric myself and turned out fine.So now my $5300 hot tub is up to $7K!Still a great deal but just food for thought for people out there. Then came the chemicals to get you going, another $250 for the Frog Ease system and some extras to get u through a year.Frog ease lasts for 3 months generally give or take and will cost u $100or so for another 3 months. These are Facts in my experience.nice stuff and good luck to all. on extra way to keep the heat in is to get a scrap piece of solar cover they use on pools to keep the heat in.I got some and cut it to fit and you can actually notice that with it on that barely no steam escapes from the water.better than nothing, maybe a pain for some but any little bit helps in the northern climates.
These things will be dirt cheap during this upcoming housing crash.
Glad you're okay, Craig. Thanks for sharing your story and insight on what to pack in the backcountry.
My guy is balling I’m from TikTok
Hahaha cheers bud!
What temp was your grill at for that cook
I like 225 F in the smoker! Takes about 3.5-4 hrs for a 13lb bird
Nice! Love the vid!
Hey Craig, we used this recipe with a farm chicken 🐓. We bribed the chicken for 36 hours & set it up on the beer can chicken stand. We warmed some brine in the fluid container. This smoked chicken came out delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
Thanks Ginger! Your chickens are the size of turkeys haha. I’m glad you tried it and liked it! I like that you brined it so long! Cheers
Yummmy!!!! & what a beautiful kitchen!
It was delicious! No left overs haha. Thank you!
Yummy Turkey! Great vid as it looks like anyone could smoke a Turkey or a chicken like that!! Could a person use there bbq if you didn’t have a smoker?
Yes you can use a BBQ with a smoking pan. But actual smokers do a better job
Great job on that garage pad! Wow I will refer you to others
Hi Craig what a beautiful little boy and a lovely prayer💞🕊🙏
Hi! Awww thanks!
Sweeet, looks good
Thanks bud!
Great video, keep em coming!!
Hey Rob, thanks man! Appreciate it!
Does your 2 way mic ever freeze up.
Hey Matt, Yes in certain conditions, but 95% of the time it's good. You can buy mike bags that go over them or use frog skin.
Thanks for putting these together for us.
Hey Man, Thanks I really appreciate that! It wasn't easy, but I hope it was worth it. Make sure to pass it around, if I get enough response I will do more!
For sure will do. I hope you do post up a few more videos. These are great.
Your video, you should say the brands you bought. What kind of bar fridge? What kind of cabinets?
Thank you for the suggestion! I’m brand new to this RUclips thing and learning as I go! I just set it up so I can put links in the description box. I will try and update it. Thank you!

Good video, I agree with your supplies, I took a survival course the instructor harped on the set up for survival Fire - Water - Shelter
Thank You Sprucegrove123. Stay tuned for the next video!
“I am the backcountry!” That’s awesome. Good work Craig. I can’t believe you’re going to go through it all again for part 2. Going to be nice and cozy with two guys cuddled in a bbq cover.
Nicely done video Craig, we are almost all under prepared.
Hahaha. Its amazing what a Guy will do for some subscribers hey! I might do it alone this time, unless its an emergency I'm not into cuddling guys haha
Thanks Pat
Brilliant! I carry most of these items in my SidexSide and Quads when I go into the mountains but it's challenging to get that amount of storage on a sled. I'm a trail rider, but still need to be properly prepared. The super shelter is my go to, especially in the winter but I love the BBQ cover and candle idea....sometimes the wood just won't burn! Carrying a small stove is also brilliant for melting snow, cooking something and even as a heat source when the wood/fire isn't cooperating. I'd love to hear the full story on the event, and I'm also looking forward to part 2! Very well done video! Thanks for sharing your story.
Thank you Gord! Funny, you are in the forest with wood all around you! But you can't get to it ( snow is too deep) or it won't burn. Its kind of like being stranded at sea and being thirsty! We were is 6' of snow on a huge incline, so getting to the tree you needed to was almost impossible. I will be doing part 2 (using the equipment in my bag) fairly soon! I will also do a video on how this whole situation happened in the first place. Please share this video with your people (Facebook or whatever ) and maybe it will help someone!
What kind of tunnel bag is that?
Thats a Linq bag. What Sled are you running?
Good vid!
Thanks Gavin! Please share it with your circle of people! Cheers
Absolutely love this kitchen
Thank you Ginger! Come over and work your magic in it anytime!
Great video Craig.
Thank you. Please share this story. We are happy to be home after that one!
such cool things I would never have thought of! So glad you guys are okay! thanks for sharing! Really could save peoples lives!
Thank you Brooke! Cant wait to do Part 2 where I can show everyone how to use the fancy equiptment!
Excellent video on things to have in a survival pack and things to consider when you go in the back county! I remember the scary call from Mount Robson Search and Rescue team that they couldn’t locate the guys and would have to leave them there till find them in the morning. This was the FIRST time they left someone on the mountain overnight. It was full survival for these guys and they should not be alive. Share with friends and family that go back country or quad, sled, hike, or backpack, etc. For Survival gear that works to stay the night in -12 Celsius !! So Thankful to all the guys that helped on and off the mountain trying locate them, and especially the rescue TEAM for saving them and getting them out alive before -30 temps hit - outstanding people!!!
Thank you Lisa Its not important.......until you NEED it! Hopefully this can help someone! The search and rescue team were second to none!
Awesome video! This could save a life. Super entertaining too! Can’t wait to see part 2.
Thank You! I hope the info can help someone
Loving this kitchen!!!
