Hello from North Scotland ,great song.

He and the band always were - he may not have had so much chart success but in the 60s he was always on the radio, very versatile band. Loved listening to this song before the DC5 trampled all over it.

My father was born in Castleblayney in 1898 . I visited there three years ago .A nice little town , the country music capital of Ireland . I wish I could have seen music groups like this one while I was there.

Would have loved to be there.

As a wee kid IBoth myself & my brother spent many a summer holiday at a place called Keenerboys , Culloville . ( both my late grandparents & late mother were Irish.) I worked in Castleblayney in 1969 /70 loved the town and made lifelong friends whom I still keep in touch with there was one special lady Sandra Hanratty RIP I am sure done of her family are still up that way.

Beautiful! Please could you explain where the trail starts? Is it signposted? Is it on the road to Keady before you get to the Presbyterian church? Or on the back road past the water treatment works place? My sister and I tried to go up there once but we think we might have been going up someone's drive to an old dilapidated property because we climbed over a gate and the track became impassible! Sorry for all the questions but I hope to come over this year - it's been so long and I do miss the place! Best wishes, Poo (Treanor)
