First welcome to the Dreams community! To answer your question about using serveral camera's there are a few diffrent ways to do this for automatic camera switching I have it in my Dreams Stream: Episode #43 at mark 2:56:00. If you want to switch it manually you need a controller sensor and set the settings to remote under the controller settings (I believe its the 4th option). If you want the green effect only applying to the camera's make sure to connect the Grade & Effects gadget with your Controller Gadget output. So that it's only active during the camera's as soon you interact with a prompt or clicking on one of the buttons on your controller. For example you can put a On/Off Switch linked to that gadget when you enter the camera by using your controller output. (I have a security camera stream where I am showing this its in my Dreams Stream #4 at mark 1:36:00). Redo the camera steps with diffrent timelines and connect them to a switch gadget. So every time you press a certain button for example X that is connected to the switch gadget it will active the next output camera 2 in this case. I hope this answers your question. I do have a Dreams stream somewhere where I am using switching to diffrent cameras remotely but cant remember which stream that was in.

I hope it's not too much to ask for, after watching some other people's videos I saw that they implemented a limited power system with a power draw. If I wish to take it a step further, would it be possible to implement a feature which would completely shut off the power, if you draw too much at once (similar to popping a breaker on a generator as a safety feature) until you have to manually restart it?

Amazing job really brought me back to old memories. I really loved this so far and will deff come back to this when there are new things to explore. I totally agree I said this as well in my video calling Dreams a game is really doing short of what Dreams really is. But I think its mostly because most gamers are familiar with the name Game then calling it something else. But stil calling it a game is really doing short of what Dreams is.

Exactly you can do that as well depending on how you set it up but you can link a controller sensor or wireless reciever to the dialogue gadgets so for those who just want to read it normally can just do that while others can skip ahead through the text gadgets.

You can still apply diffrent flecs to the shape altho some behave in the same way as how cube texture works for example if you apply circles on 100% Neatness you get all circles lined up. So yes you can change the fleck itself but with some flecks you get a diffrent behaviour. Shapes like Circle and Triangle working just like how cube shape is working, while dots or some others will shape in clustered in a cube/circle form. But yes most of the shapes can be changed as long they are simple fleck shapes like, Triangle, Hexagon, circle and square ect. Hopefully this was the answer you were looking for.

@@jechtaplays Thank you very much, yes it's exactly what I want. So if I have understood I'll can use this to make or add a "bump mapping effect" on a rock's texture by exemple. Just the random shape of rock will do the fleks will not be lined up (but it's exactly what we need for a natural asset's texture). It's a great news, thx again ;)

Sadly this is an old stream from last year. I didnt had much people wanted to take part of this. But i am going to reboot it this year with diffrent rules and some changes in the community Event itself. I will make a follow-up video this year with more details on this as i still want to make this for the community a little concert. Thank you for the clarification and how to pronounce it. I assume you are new to my channel so I will explain it a bit. As I said in the video i will not do any preparations or experiments before making this type of video. As I said in this video this is not a tutorial but my first thoughts and tips. I want to approach this type of video as someone who sees and experience this for first time together and sharing my view and thoughts about the new update. If I do preparations or experimenting beforehand, it will become a tutorial instead, which I do as well on my channel but those I put more time and effort in. These videos have their own thumbnails, titles and approaches. (This will be my first and last time I will explain this in text form i will however keep reminding this in my videos for new Dreamers coming to my channel for the first time) I did however experimented more after and i come to the same conclusion as I said already in this video. It needs more polishing as it's currently not user friendly as it is now, and it still does auto close the text code without closing it manually which causes issues with the text after. Don't get me wrong the update is great and it should have been already there from the launch but in my opinion it needs a bit more polishing on it.

Its funny that you didnt even consider looking around Jecta's RUclips channel, before making your comment on his video, otherwise you would have known this is his way of doing Dreams content and that its his first thoughts about the new updates and not a tutorial or guide. The irony here is strong. OT: I can't wait to try these new updates myself its great we can finally make text bigger and such without using other gadgets, I agree its not user friendly especially like you said in the video with a controller, it is indeed way better to do with a keyboard.

Why does he need to experimenting around before making a video? He is literally telling us at 1:28 in the intro of the video that its his first time looking at this and his first thoughts and not some guide or tutorial.... People really cant listen anymore these days always go straight to their keyboards.

I assumed this 20 minute video was going to be packed with tips but instead he's providing stuff that I could have done myself. That is correct the shark is made in dreams i have diffrent looks for it as well on stream during special events.

@@cronchulus5489 I cant remember if i sculpted this live on stream but if you mean how i made it how it is on the screen, is just by recording the sculpt from dreams and add that to OBS program. The animation itself is a short loop.

A screenshot option for sticker mode that would be indeed very cool to have something like that we had in LBP. I think this is already a good step in the right direction of what we can do and hopefully they can manage to add more variantions to the sticker mode more texture options or indeed a picture option. I think engine wise shouldnt be a problem if they can already do icons working on sticker so can an in-game screenshot i think and hope its just a matter of time before they code something in like that. Yeah indeed. I have seen a creation that used it for water refraction which is really amazing and easier with this new update.
