This was our landing into Kuala Lumpur a few days ago. Nice approach on the landing. Our plane was an older aircraft which certainly showed its age with the soundsbit was making. Still, a nice landing by our Pilot and a great view from the final approach.

Watching our flight from our hotel room
I lived here in CR for over 25 years. I'm never leavin'!
Thanks for commenting here @salvaje20, CR is just such a fantastic place, and your very lucky to live there too. One of the five blue zones in the whole world. Do check out my other CR videos on my channel if you have time. Thanks, Colin
nice
@hhhooohhhoooo thanks! I havnt played the piano at this point for a very long time so was very rusty, but the piano was in tune and sounded nice up there. Thanks, Colin.
Ive got a few questions 1) were tvs any good 2)did you get like packs with things for flight like those socks and toothbrush and stuff
Hi Antony, Thanks for commenting here. Heres the answer to your Qs, 1) I cant really say much about the TVs because I normally work on my laptop when i travel, even if its on a 'holiday charter' although this was a scheduled flight. I saw others watching the films, and there seems to be a selection of good films, but thats only my own take on it, your's may vary from mine, so please bear that in mind. The only think i normally have on all the time is the map, as I do a bot of filming on the plane from various locations, always ask the crew whenever I do this, so they know what im. up to and always offer to interview any of the crew who are up for that, which is why i dont do much of the TV, as im always working on edits from other stuff on my laptop, but to sort of answer your question, the TVs are an ok size. 2) No, but you do get a cushion. If its a night flight you get blankets as well. If you book premium economy (not worth it in my opinion, since its a 2-3-2 layout, so not much extra width that is noticable, plus the extra legroom is nothing like going business class on other airlines (as I have flown quite a few times on business class - still to post up videos of these flights) and tui offer packs for premium economy, however, if you buy your own before going (and save a few hundred per person by not going premium economy) book your seat in the back, and dont chosse your own seats, you can save quite a lot. The socks, tooth brush and other stuff, you can buy yourself for under a fiver. Hope that helps. Do check out my other TUI videos however, as they will show you different view points, plus also do check out the Sargassum video I did, as I understand it is a huge problem now on Mexico's Carribean coast. Personally, I was in Mexico last year, as part of a round the world trip, I didnt go back this year, but travelled to Panama and Costa Rica on the Pacific Coast earlier this year, which I would recommend. I have just come back from a long tour doing many countries within the far east and south east asia, since Mexico has been off the cards due to the beach situation, so stay tuned and do consider please subscribing to check out my next videos when I post them of those trips. Thanks, Colin.
I agree with you, nothing like eating humus at 38,000 feet in business class on Emirates, nothing like it

You should never go to a Foreign country and take video of military bases. Have you ever heard of the saying create your own luck. Well that count for bad luck to.
@nealrcn This is good advice, however it's in full view of only the tallest tower in South Korea, and the area and surrounding area is in full view, and everyone has the latest smart phones which means they can all zoom into thing which of course they were all doing. If the observation deck didn't want to allow this access, they could easily cordon or block of one side of the tower keeping any eyes away from viewing it. To say otherwise would just be ridiculous. It's a completely different argument if you said you were at a specific site photographing it, such as the infamous plane spotters in Greece years ago. Context these days in absolutely everything. Please bear that in mind before making such a comment.

Revolut mate. Don’t leave the country without it.
Will be leaving this shitty bank and taking away all my business away from them on our return. BoS truly do not care about customers as they always put profit before customers.
@TMcGVideo any chance GB news might want to do a piece on this. I've got video of it as I know the bank are going to dig their heels in when I get back. Just managed to get my hotel to very kindly call the number the bank gave me and also the number on the back of my card for the "dedicated" team, who are, gues what.... closed. They should rename it to the "Dedicated to royaly shafting customers team". BoS are the worst. Each agent just parrots some crap hoping you will just go away. I have mow spoken with 5 separate people on their twitter team, who are useless, and a load of useless people on their verified app chat team who are a waste of space.
EDIT: It's directed by Sofia Coppola and not Carla Coppola lime i say in the video. It's been a very long day.
what bar is this=?
Its called Table 9, however the service regarding seating was being profiled and given to people of Oriental appearance, not westerners, which I made a complaint about, regarding the Bar Manager. I just do not accept any substandard service from anyone, expecially as im paying top dollar for it too. Nice bar, but there are also plenty of others to also consider. Nice views, but quite a pretentious bar with the like of people who frequent those places. Thanks, Colin.
magical view!
It certainly was!
👍 true. Shibuya is still cool tho
Agree! Still a nice place, but those little skin-deep instagrammers have spoiled it. Thanks, Colin.

@@09juanki I think you've missed the point of the whole film. It's a small plane, they get turbulence, if you don't like this then maybe don't watch any action films, although I don't have the Hollywood budget they have for huge camera rigs which go on the side of a plane or car ;-)

BA 777-226 from Gatwick? Or Tui 787 dreamliner from Manchester? I have both options and hate flying! Which plane is best?
Hi and thanks for watching and commenting here! Couple of factors to consider, your time and money getting to the airport, as I do t know where your living, difficult to say, but Manchester has had some issues in the past. BA aren't what they used to be, however saying that, I believe getting the BA plane will get you in a bit later to Cancun in the day, meaning you arrive at your hotel later too. Aircraft choice, I would chose the B777, I actually just flew in a B777-200 Air France 8 weeks ago, and it was nice, although I was up front in row 4 which was nice and got a flat bed to sleep in. It's still a good plane but an older one which makes no difference from a safety point. The B787 will be the B787-9 version a slightly longer version than the B787 ( I've got a separate video on this and I interviewed the captain on the flight deck, please do consider watching this too) I'm not sure of the flight times but I think it's a morning departure which is better. Just avoid row 38 i think it is on the tui dreamliner as one of these rows doesn't have a window, I know it's on the smaller version, check seat guru for this info which is quite helpful. Also before you go do watch my other video The Big Sargassum Problem as riviera maya has a massive seaweed issue. Some placed reportedly have less seaweed, however its something that most travel agents keep quiet about. Hope this info helps, but if it came down to choice I'm an old school guy so the B777 for me. Thanks, Colin

Again! Nice video as always, Have you ever think about getting your Private Pilot license?
Hi @ CaravanBushFlyer and thanks for watching mew newest video and commenting here with your very kind comment, much appreciated and glad you enjoyed this video too. Yes, I have considered getting my PPL several times, and I think I will do this in the next few years, probably easier to gain the PPL overseas and do training in a few weeks in a sunnier climate other than the UK, as we have weather issues here which means training doest always go as planned. It is also more cost effective to study and do this overseas, since the UK is just a lot more expensive to complete the PPL here. It is in the planner for me. Thanks, Colin.

Hi Ray, thanks for watching and commenting here, have you flow with these guys? Returned from Cancun in July 2024, staying in Puerto Morelos. Whilst we knew about the sargassum issue, we didn’t quite realise how bad it was going to be. It was cleared by a tractor daily, but when the tractor churned it all up the smell was horrific. When we did go into the water my swimsuits stained brown! On the other hand we visited Costa Mujeres in November which was much better. No seaweed at all. Definitely go to the north of Cancun and in the winter months.
Hi @Ellielucy thanks for watching and giving an in depth comment on your stay too. You describe pretty much what I had recorded in my video of the Puerto Morelos area too. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. That is on the hotels there, since they are charging enough money, they really need to get a handle on this, since other hotels are better at doing this. Iv'e had many comments on here saying that Costa Mujeres is much better with little issue of the sargassum. What I would say to you is, certainly consider traveling south to Costa Rica and Panama, the beaches there are pristine and fantastic and with a lot of outstanding natural beauty especially Costa Rica and try the Pacific side too! Do check out my other Costa Rica videos to see for yourself what im talking about. Check out the link here ruclips.net/p/PLgpzS66fiq_dg4YnrpWdLMJ4LFAkmgF0r Also consider travelling to Mexico's Pacific coast too, many places to go there, but well worth it too. Thanks, Colin.
