You are a Florida running pro! Yes I've heard such great things about the Space Coast Marathon. Definitely on my list! If it wasn't so close to NYC this year I probably would have done it, so maybe next year! Disney definitely has become the "must do" race and it's extremely popular, but I also feel like that may slow down in the next few years. Living so close to the parks still has a bit of novelty for us, but I'm sure that will change over time. I'll be interested to see if Universal adds races once they open their new park. I'm so happy to hear you say that yesterday was the worst you experienced because Even being here 3 years that was how I felt, but also wasn't sure if I just blocked other summer runs from my memory lol. That storm just really enhanced the muggy weather this week. Hopefully it dies down for the long run! Stay hydrated and thanks for following along!

Yeah it seems to work really well for many!! I ended up ordering more Skratch as it doesn't bother my stomach as much. I might give LMNT another try once I get into my longer miles and am in the heat for a longer period of time

Hello and thank you! This stay was September 14th! The only construction you will see is around the future cake bake shop. We did not feel it impeded our stay in any way! There wasn't any noise and other than walking to EPCOT, we didn't even notice it. I would just recommend requesting a room on the opposite side if you are concerned at all. The only room that wasn't renovated completely during our stay was the presidential suite, which I would image will be done by December if it isn't already. Highly recommend staying here!

Thank you so much! I am using the iPhone 12 Pro. We will eventually upgrade to a nicer camera, but this works great for now!

The lobby itself has been restored for now. They are still working on all of the main building rooms, so the exterior scaffolding will remain. Last update was late fall, but I don't know if that still holds. We are staying on property soon and will ask to see if we can get any further updates!

French Quarter is such a romantic resort and perfect for an anniversary! You'll have such an amazing time. January is typically a quieter month, so you'll really get to see lower wait times and also enjoy my favorite Epcot festival. With 10 days you won't be rushed and will really be able to check off all of your favorite things!

@@AlwaysPlanning Agreed, I had stayed in the Contemporary, Coronado, Caribbean, Riverside (when it was Dixie 😂), Shades of Greens (I am a Coast Guard veteran with two kids also serving in the Coast Guard), and for about six years before my sabbatical from Disney, we made French Quarter our home in Disney World. Small and quieter compared to other resorts. Since I rather drive than rely on Disney transportation; I always rent) it does not bother me to drive. For us is the perfect resort (I am saving for a stay at our dream Resort, Wilderness Lodge, for late 2024 when I make the last mortgage payment and my wife's retirement at the same time). Stay safe.

Hopefully they will do that for you! If not, you can definitely make the most of it though, especially if you enter the park at 7:00 and take full advantage of those few hours prior to the party. Just prioritize what is most important to you and it will be a great time regardless!

The Polynesian is definitely a great one we can check out soon. We stayed there right after covid and we want to give it another try now that things are a bit back to normal. We appreciate the critiques. We are still learning and feedback on what you'd like to see is very helpful as we edit in the future! We also just invested in some new equipment, so hopefully that will help with the sound moving forward. :)

Hey Johnny! Yes you'll have a new room. All the standard rooms are complete and they are currently working on the suites and cottages. We were in room 4240, but I would put in a request for a water view as those are all standard as well. You'll have a beautiful view that way!
