中原弓彦こと小説家小林信彦先生の原案に基づいております。純文学作家で、ときおりアイドル映画の原作・原案をされる。のちの薬師丸ひろ子主演、紳士同盟が著名。 　67当時、テレビの仕事が多かった小林先生の顔と人徳、日本テレビ細井ディレクター・渡辺プロ渡辺美沙専務の全面協力で、瀕死の松竹映画を復活させた。この作品の成功後、各映画社は同様の顧客確保と制作手法に進んでゆき、名実ともに日本映画はテレビの一部門となり消滅した。

映画「進め！ジャガーズ 敵前上陸」は、 笑点の司会者の南伸介さん、先代の三遊亭円楽さん、伊東四朗さん等々の、とても豪華な人々が出演していて驚きました。 かなり前に、この映画をレンタルビデオでレンタルしてみた理由は、ホテルエンパイアと、横浜ドリームランドのロケ映像を見たいと思ったからでした。 横浜ドリームランドの外周列車等々の、カラー映像は、とても貴重です。 02:38、ロケ地になった横浜ドリームランドは、2002年に閉園して、今はもう現存していません。ロケ映画やロケドラマの映像が、今では貴重な資料映像になっています。 「進めジャガーズ 敵前上陸」は、以前はレンタルビデオ店にあったのに、最近では、みられないのが残念です。 映画の内容も、とても興味深かったです。 5人の5色の色分けの女性達が登場しますが、この映画の方が、東映の戦隊ヒーローの、秘密戦隊ゴレンジャーよりも、何年も先である事等々・・・ 他にも・・・

holy shit I've been looking for this film for around 15 years after I saw it during a Group Sounds marathon on some Sukaipa channel; thank you so much for the upload on archive. The bugle song at the 1 hour 12 minute mark dug its way into my brain and basically never left and I finally get to hear it again.

開業まもないホテルエンパイアも見どころの一つです♪

Wild! Yeah, it's pretty fuzzy, but I recognize the music! Still have my 'Original Cast Recording' from Broadway. Had the poster, too but that's toast. Saw the show in the late 60s at the Alvin Theater (Neil Simon Theater, now) on 52nd st. smack dab in the middle of it all! The musical got terrible reviews, and overshadowed by a Batman show at the same time. I'm gland to have seen it. Jack Cassidy played the bad guy reporter, and I may be wrong, but the bad gal reporter was Valerie Harper. The gang of evil doers that Superman gets to knock down was a family of acrobats, East Asian, I think. They were fantastic, and the choreographing for that scene was complex, for sure!. Superman flies in (on a wire) and the point of the scene is him singing while fighting, all about his innermost feelings (Lois, of course) and the mad scientist trying to accomplish his evil deed, with test tubes and such. Really should dig through my LP's to get the details. Not sure if it's in with the cataloged stuff, or one of the piles… aah, it's on the web, somewhere. When we went, I must have been 12 or so. The show was the greatest thing, and I played the record over and over! Funny, too, Superman was not my thing, as far as the comics went, none of the superhero stuff did anything for me, but this really was the cat's pajamas!
