Only for 42kms and 21kms they provide lockers. For other categories, either leave it with some friend or relative. I prefer to carry my bag with bare minimum things like a towel, cellph , wallet etc

The main Tamil or south Indian area in Delhi is KarolBhag where Tamil shops are lined up around intersection road of Saraswati Marg and AjmalKhan Marg. In Mahipalpur hotels are generic and not specific Tamil. Mainly used for Transit halts if we have an early morning flight next day. However there are ample of Tamil outlets in Mahipalpur like TamilNadu hotel, Flavours of Chennai, Banana Leaf, New Madras Cafe, Vanakkam hotel to name a few. Just aapko ek rough idea milega ki inke breakfast main kaise food items hote hai... But breakfast ka walkin rate per person is Rs 350 around. But since aapko Mass booking karna hai for a function, I believe rate kaafi negotiable hoga agar aap direct inse baat karoge. Aap selected food items inse order karwa sakte ho as per your requirements. Roughly aapke ingredients par bhi pricing depend hogi. Like Rs 200/250 etc.. But again maine rough figure diya hai. Actuals may differ. Thanks..

KarolBhag is a good central area with good metro connectivity. There are many around KarolBagh like hotel Prince International, Hotel Sun City, hotel Sarthak Palace, Silver stone, Singh International etc. Mahipalpur is near airport and if you are likely to visit places like VasantKunj, Vasant Vihar etc then you can check for Aero Star or most of them are same rate out there, even the La Sapphaire is good. Personally I prefer KarolBhag since we have good connectivity out there. Would recomment you to load mobile apps like Trivago, Goibibo and Agoda. These apps will show you good comparison across travel sites and the best cost available for that particular date. Have a wonderful time at Delhi.

This is on start of lower bazar. When we descend from main Mall towards lower Bazar, and take the road going downhill, 2-3 min we can find this beautiful vegetable market.

Road conditions are v good. No problems for even self driven cars. Just try and avoid couple of monsoon months though. But overall this route is much much better than Bagdogra - Gangtok route..
