As a kid growing up and collecting these figures, I was constantly blown away from the amount of detail and sculpting. Had so many and unfortunately I only managed to save two figures. But at least the ones I kept were my absolute favorites.

Jane Alexander is brilliant in this movie. It’s a masterclass in acting. Also, the scene where she’s looking for the stuffed animal and the voice over dialogue when she says her daughter died that day. OMG. This movie haunts me still. I’m 44 now. Also, this movie is the reason warning sirens and that sound give me chills.

This movie haunts me. Why was I allowed to watch this at 6?!

On the leading lady competition. The champion Dorothy proved why she was champion. Her and Bernie were a much more believable couple. The way she delivered. Her lines was very natural. You can believe that. This was a scene that could actually really be happening. Well done to the champion. The Challenger, Marguerite, Hickey I think was her name just did not look like she belong with Bernie. I could not buy them as a real couple. On top of that her lines sounded rehearsed and rushed.

The spokes model, Lisa Parker looks like she could’ve stepped into any 80s TV series or video and sit right in. She look like they women from Matlock. The strong powerful female lawyers type. Her challenger Denise, just seemed a little off. I don’t know if it was the make up they used on her or what.but her mouth was way too accentuated and I. make up didn’t really work that well either. She just did not have the poise of the champion. The stage presence just wasn’t there. And her voice shows a lack of confidence that the champion Lisa exuded. the champion Lisa Parker in my opinion had this round, hands-down without a doubt.

Sawyer Brown even now in 2023 these guys are still together. They’re still touring and they have over 30+ albums. I would say these guys were a huge success especially about 10 years after this. They ruled the 90s country sing. Still in my favorite band.
