Nice review. I am thinking about getting a Momentum. The second hand alignment things an irritant for me too. Don’t know why manufacturers can’t get around this. Cost probably. Anyway, how loud is the tick and how well does the lume hold up through the night? Thanks.

No problems sliding around if you size correctly for watch weight. Tip…Easy to hook if you go corner first. 🍻 cheers

Good video. I haven't had any personal experience with a Trove Cash Wrap but do own and carry cash wraps made by other makers. Based on my experience, you could reduce the challenges of putting cash in the Trove cash wrap if you bundled all the bills you plan to carry that day and inserted them in the appropriate slot all at once. It will virtually eliminate the fumbling. The Trove does look to be a very good wallet. Just a thought. Take care and have a great day.

MN straps are the best...

I find the MN bands only work well with light watches. They work loose every day. They are also difficult to latch once on. I now latch it first, then put the watch on.

I don't know what's wrong with me. Im not able to fasten it while its on my wrist like you did. I have to fasten it then stretch it over my wrist. Then that loosens it slightly and adjusting size while on wrist is also difficult. Its really a hassle to get it fitting well for me but when it is its easy the most comfortable strap ive ever worn. Im using the Ericas brand one though so maybe ill give this one a go.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. AMZWATCH watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

Great video. I have the Eclispe 38mm and I love it. I always go back to it as out is light and accurate. The domed sapphire crystal looks great. This watch gets more compliments than any other watch I wear.

I mean yeah, if you ignore the fact that the elasticity dies and the material frays on the sides and the fact that it is one continuous piece of textile, sure, it's somewhat more comfortable than any other of the various options. But then there is the price, which is always more expensive than a nato alternative that lasts indefinitely, as compared to this. I used to think these were great alternatives, particularly if it were lightly used, in the rotation of other watches. But, no, it turns out this strap has the same shelf life as a genuine rubber strap - 18 months - and that includes light use.

Where did you buy this one when they have discontinued the line?

Which would you recommend? This or Boldr Venture? Also have around 6-6.2” wrist and just really torn between those two. I’m guessing the Venture wears better?

I own this model. I've been with it about 4 years. The design is cool and it's made with quality. But I have fou d very unpractical specially handling bills, and trying to put them inside. It takes too much time and it's not easy.

Happy to throw my hat in the ring! If you prefer more minimal titanium hardware, a tool-less strap install, no strap beneath the watch, infinite adjustability, I believe you would greatly enjoy one of my Chrono-Grips!

After diving into straps more from watching this video, I found a brand called Luff. They have a decent amount of "Elastico" style watch straps that you may be interested in. Similar concept.

I love quartz watches. I like this watch, but that clasp is irritating. But I do appreciate the domed sapphire. Screw down crown is cool, because you won’t have to mess with the crown too much anyway. I would like it better without a date window. Overall, it looks like a solid watch. I wonder how accurate it is. And the full lume dial is awesome.

I much prefer single pass natos to elastic

I love that strap for my Seiko "flight master" .... It's super comfy to wear.

amazon has all kinds of colors, but no fancy patterns except for a single line of various colors. There are two significant drawbacks to this specific style of elastic strap. #I. The sliding bracket which receives the hook does exactly that, slides down the strap when worn necessitating constant readjustment. #2. Its single loop design doesn't provide enough rigidity when worn with your heavier sport watches.

I’ve got 3 different MN straps: 2 from Erika’s, one from Prometheus DW-one of the Erika’s straps is very soft and comfortable, but has lost a lot of it’s elasticity over the years that I’ve had it. The other one has material that isn’t as soft, so therefore isn’t any more comfortable than a regular nato strap. The PDW MN strap is very soft, and very comfortable, but is also very new and still retains elasticity. On the other hand, my favorite, most comfortable straps are my Bonetto Cinturini #328 rubber natos. Most comfortable straps imo.

I don't like NATO/Zulu straps on dive watches. However, on a field watch there is nothing better.....

Two and a half minutes into the video and still hasn't gotten to the point, still talking about the NATO strap. Not sure that's a very good tactic for an informative video that is supposed to draw people in and engage them from eary on.
