Wow it sounds great! Too bad it can't be both acoustic and electric.

Hey, I just purchased one of these. If I end up having any trouble with the tuners, do you have any recommendations for machine heads I can replace them with?
I personally recommend grover tuners. I would check the specs on the eastman website and then find an appropriate fitting tuner on stewmac! Hope this helps. You can also always buy the part and then have it professionally changed out at your local music store.
Most people would also like to hear the instrument in addition to just your opinion of nuiance.

regarding nut width, 1 and 3/32 is narrower than 1 and 1/8, not wider
I was wondering the same. 1/8 = 4/32. 3/32 < 4/32.

I've been in love with my Godin A8 for 15 years but this could lead me away.
I cannot find one A8 here in the UK … I like it’s tone but they have stopped making it ?
