A ball with a core and cover stock honestly is not needed for however this guy bowls. A ball with a core and cover, such as the Phaze II, is meant to be curved down the lane. If he bought the ball due to looks, he still spent likely 100 USD more than he needed to, as a plastic ball with similar colors could be found for probably 50-100 USD
Also, the face that it does have a core and cover could affect the down lane motion of the ball. I assume he desires it to go straight, and this can mess him up. Basically, the decision to buy this ball is not a very smart one in my opinion. No hate, though.

The wrist is fixed, so it won't hurt the wrist. If you rotate the whole arm 180 degrees together, you won't get hurt unless you have someone to teach you, whether it's a curve ball or a disc ball. Currently Taiwan, Malaysia, Mainland China, Japan... some countries are playing this way. The name is: UFO ball. You can search for it.
I don’t mean to be mean but this isn’t intended to be a straight ball . Yes you can obviously as you see in the video. But it’s designed to hook . So anyone new to bowing , if your just a straight bowler get ether a plastic ball or something that doesn’t really have a core that’s mean to hook .
