Matt Ramsey is my favorite bass player. His style is beautiful. I’m almost 50 and I’ve been playing for 35 years now, including professionally for many years, and since I discovered Matt a few years ago, I’ve been re-inspired to practice my craft in an attempt to play as beautiful as him. In the last 3 years I’ve listened to every Matt Ramsey video I could find… many times over. Lol. And I’ve literally gotten 2x better since from being inspired and learning from his playing. I needed that! Thanks for this interview, thanks to Matt Ramsey, and most of all thanks to God. I only use my gifts at church now, I’m enjoying playing bass more than I ever have, and they greatly appreciate it.
