I get you mate and I appreciate the feedback but there are a few things that people usually do no take into consideration especially when they are related to AI. First off, in my humble opinion being an artist means you have the ability and the flexibility to create something new, something that didn't exist right before you made it, essencially something that is able to carry an emotion. Generative AI content does not mean nothing per se as you have to literally create each little piece, each little frame by yourself. As an artist I do embrace the journey of innovation and new technology, in the same exact way I did 10 years ago when I stopped using drum machines and I started using sample libraries or as a mixing engineer I quit using hardware and I begin using software emulations. In order to better explain my point of view, in this film nobody wrote my music. I have created, played, produced, mixed and mastered every single song in here. Often people believe that AI means you can click a button and have a piece of a fantastic art in your own hands. Well it's not. It takes many weeks of trying and understanding in order to have a something that, with many efforts, you can turn into art. Much love

@djsatomiofficial Thank you for the civil response, I appreciate it. I get what you're saying and I don't disagree. It's perfectly valid to use every tool available to you, and AI is a very powerful tool. However, what I personally take issue with is how the vast majority of AI models on the market are trained using images, songs, videos, etc that are scraped from the internet in bulk without permission from the original creators, and who are given no credit after the fact. It's derivative at best and plagiarism at worst. That's not to say that ethical models don't exist, they just aren't as easy to make or as commercially viable. I can say with 99.9% certainty that your very own songs have been incorporated into training models and used directly or indirectly to generate revenue for some tech savvy 3rd parties. You might not personally have any issue with that, but I'm guessing you never consciously gave anyone permission to use your work for that.

@@maksymshkopas8686 Hey dude, II fully understand your point but I want to clariry, there is no switch, you could call it an add-on. I haven't seen myself as a "music creator" but always been someone who loves to create stuff. This seems to be the same but it's slightly different in terms of how I perceive my approach to art. In the latest 25 years I produced many musical genres, I wrote poetry, books and I enjoyed experimenting with painting as well. Am I good at all of them, of course not! But it's just me expanding my creative universe, it didn't really mind how or when. I have been working on new music videos for my songs, new stories, new films and so forth. To cut the long story short, I always loved to share messages through my art, no matter the medium but only the meaning. Respect

@@uberhobo2 That is an absolute good food for thought and thank you for pointing it out. My perspective is different though. I have been making music since 25+ years and my art has been literally copied, from melodies rather than drum sounds, by so many producers that I lost count. Did I give them permission of sampling or cloning my melodies and get revenues from it, of course not. The thing is if you only focus on what's missing, you may lose the ability to see what awaits you. I do accept the fact that making art also means sharing art. I am conscious it is my personal point of view but I don't mind people getting inspired by what I am able to create. For me, having now the ability and facing the extreme complexity of making a film is a new way to share my messages also through my own music. What I see is brand new way to express myself at best. Anyway dude, thanks a lot for the engaging discussion, appreciate it.
