It’s not fully correct that Carlos Santana was her main influence as it is often stated. She adores Santana and he’s one of her influences, but she has a much broader range of inspirations developing her unique style. Until high school she was just listening to classical music. When she discovered rock and did start playing rock guitar she did learn guitar licks from Bands like Kiss, Metallica, Deep Purple, but also from Japanese rock bands like Glay and X-Japan. But she did point out in an Interview with Young Guitar that Room 335 by the famous Jazz-Fusion Guitarist Larry Carlton inspired her to lift her playing on a serious level. But I‘m sure there are much more influences. Kanami lives music 24/7 and she picks up influences all around her, she probably even get influenced from growing gras and raindrops on her hat 😊

The first song on video was "Thrill", and it saved the band! This a great song, but could have sent the band in a different direction, but it's the one their label wanted them to record in a mv, but the band decided "Thrill" was more "them".

If I'm not mistaken this is the song that Band Maid's label wanted them to do the music video for and they chose Thrill instead. Because that was more the direction they wanted to take. And it was a good thing they did because that's what saved them. The way this is the first time I've ever heard this song and I like it so I guess the saying holds true. They just can't make a bad song

You can really hear Santana's influence on Kanami's playing, which makes sense since Matador is in the title.

The lead guitarist is Kanami, and she likes Carlos Santana and Larry Carlton. This was the A-side song of their first single CD. Their management company was going to make the first OMV with this song, but Maids unanimously chose "Thrill", the B-side song. The OMV of "Thrill" went viral overseas that saved this band. The president of the management company later told Maids that he was thinking of disbanding Band-Maid if the OMV was going nowhere.

What's up bro I think this dude is one of the most underrated rappers up today. That's just my opinion LOL others may have a different opinion but I definitely think everything he does is brilliant. He stays true to himself and that's what I like in a artist of any sort. Always stay true to yourself. I definitely agree some of his music is definitely not for little ears in the cornfield lol. Especially Nancy that is not for children lol. But yeah man deathly a great one. Hope you're doing well I'm staying cool and we are getting flooding like crazy here.
