As a Disney fan since childhood, my connection with the company's magical stories and iconic characters runs deep, shaping cherished memories (especially the Toys Story film series). The news of Disney's town hall meeting with Bob Iger and the division heads resonates with my nostalgia for the enchanting world Disney has crafted over the years. The shift in focus from quantity to quality within the company evokes a sense of anticipation and hope for the future of Disney's storytelling. As someone who holds Disney close to my heart, I trust that the company will continue to innovate and create captivating experiences that transport us to enchanting worlds, just as it did during my childhood.

One of my favorite childhood routines was watching Marvel films, especially when I could see them in a theatre. But after Avengers: Endgame came out, the hype subsided because it effectively concluded the Phases 1, 2, and 3 story line that I had grown up watching. As the expectations are at an all-time high due to the quality of the films released during this time, I believe that Marvel is still a successful franchise, but the quality of the films they are currently producing is not quite on par with Phases 1-3. With the release and reception of "The Marvels," it is evidently difficult to replicate the fan engagement and global impact that Marvel once had. Marvel needs to figure out how to start over and figure out what makes people want to see their films and stories more.

The current state of Disney and its film releases is disheartening for many fans, myself included. As someone who has always admired Disney's cinematic creations, it's disappointing to see their recent struggles to capture the attention and excitement of audiences. There was a time when Disney movies were highly anticipated, but it seems they may have lost touch with what audiences are seeking in today's entertainment landscape. It's important for Disney to recognize that audience preferences evolve over time. While their past films may have been beloved, it's crucial for them to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of their audience. This serves as a gentle reminder to Disney that they need to remain in tune with shifting tastes and deliver content that resonates with modern viewers.

Disney was a childhood staple. This fascinating area fulfills desires and inspires imaginations. Disney was constantly with me growing up because of "The Lion King," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Aladdin"'s charm. But recent news about Disney's box office issues makes us wonder how this beloved childhood institution is changing. I feel sad about Disney's issues, especially with their box office performance. Their recent films have done poorly compared to their classics, showing how drastically the entertainment industry has evolved. In Disney's company, CEO Bob Iger and studio boss Alan Bergman are under pressure, demonstrating how quickly things may change. Disney's recent films haven't captured the spirit of the times like older ones, and it's not simply money. Disney makes people nostalgic for more than the past. People get sentimental about preserving magic, myths, and childhood. The company's modern movie business issues make people wonder where creativity and financial success meet. Disney's transformation from a secure haven for me as a child to a massive company struggling with the box office reminds me that Disney is more than numbers. Big businesses constantly face financial challenges, but Disney's history of crafting stories gives it optimism that it can tackle current issues with the same power as its classic stories. Disney's leaders' stress indicates that even the most recognizable businesses must adapt to new technology, tastes, and market dynamics in a fast-changing entertainment industry.

Since the release of Tesla, EVs have unquestionably gained popularity due to their cutting-edge features, which make them appealing to consumers. Even then, there are still issues with some procedures and the sustainability of the product; these are the obstacles that Teslas face. As a producer or manufacturer, Hertz made a wise decision to reduce the number of EVs it produces since it will give them more time to talk about the potential consequences of EVs. By resolving such issues, customers will have a better chance of enjoying automobiles of the future.

Anyone who is aware of the NBA is not in the dark regarding its continued popularity, which can be attributed to great players' performances, teams, and marketing tactics. It's encouraging to learn that they can still satisfy fan requests in spite of the shifting financial landscape. The spectators are also highly interested in the match ups between the various teams. The NBA as a whole would benefit from this as it raises revenue.

It is really saddening how Disney is getting lost in their way. I think that Disney focused on quantity rather than the quality of the movies that are being produced. Another film that I think was a big hit after the pandemic was Avatar: Way of the Water. Notice that even though the sequel was released after several years, fans still are excited to watch it. With that, I think that Disney can capitalize on the large fan base that they have gathered over the years and take time to release better movies.

This is the first time that I have listened to a discussion about Hertz. Hertz's recent move to cut back on its plans for electric vehicles (EVs) has caused waves in the auto and green transportation industries. At first, the company was praised for its commitment to a greener future by adding a lot of electric vehicles (EVs) to its fleet. However, Tesla's price cuts and worries about high repair costs are now major factors in this strategy reevaluation. It's clear that Hertz's move to scale back its plans for electric vehicles shows how challenging it will be for EVs to become widely used, especially on an industrial scale. Tesla's price cuts and worries about high repair costs have made Hertz rethink its plans to build a large fleet of electric cars. This event shows how the field of sustainable transportation is changing. The main things that affect the plans of big players in the field are economic factors and the way the market is moving.

I think that the immense popularity and cultural impact of "Avengers: Endgame" created a significant challenge for Disney and Marvel Studios. The film not only reached unparalleled heights in terms of storytelling and fan engagement but also became a benchmark for the franchise's success. Consequently, any following MCU film after it would naturally face immense pressure to replicate or surpass the monumental achievement and emotional depth that "Avengers: Endgame" attained, making it a daunting task for the company to top such an iconic and beloved cinematic milestone.

Hearing about Disney's standing is heartbreaking. As a fan of Disney films, this is a significant matter for me. With everything going on right now, it's a shame that movies aren't receiving more attention. I recall when people were excited about what Disney had to offer, but it looks like Disney is not delivering what people want or expect from them. This might serve as a friendly reminder to Disney that people's tastes fluctuate. It makes no difference if they like the prior flicks. They must continue to deliver what audiences expect, just as the other films have. This might also be an eye-opener for them to focus more on the quality and less on the number that they would receive. I'm confident that Disney could reestablish its enthusiasm for developing films that people will eagerly await.

Marvel was something that I had taken quite a liking to before but now I have started to lose interest as I know that my favorite characters would not be appearing anymore. I myself only had watched movies and seeing these new movies with new characters in the same universe confuses me. I just feel like the movies are just moving too much and there are not much development or build up and users had to do quite some research in order to understand parts of the movie. Without the characters we loved and had built the marvel name to what it is right now, It just does not seem as exciting to wait and watch the later movies which takes place in the same universe. Maybe I'm just too attached, or i just feel that it is not the same without the main characters and casts.

StubHub's revelation of a 60% spike in NBA ticket sales due to international interest is a testament to the sport's universal appeal. I grew up having NBA watch parties in our home and this news just reflects the NBA’s success in penetrating the international fan base. A growing international fan base not only boosts the league's brand but also opens up new markets and revenue streams. Also the players are the league’s global ambassadors as well. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, and many more stars are athletes while also serving as the biggest global ambassadors drawing fans from various countries. The league's concerted efforts to market itself globally and the increased visibility of star players have undoubtedly contributed to capturing the imaginations of fans from diverse corners of the world.

I've never heard about Hertz (as it is a US-based company) before but I believe their decision to reassess and recalibrate its electrification strategy reflects a more measured approach to address the practical challenges faced within the industry. This adjustment could help Hertz better navigate the complexities of maintaining a sizable electric vehicle fleet while balancing financial sustainability, thereby laying the groundwork for a more feasible and sustainable transition to electric transportation in the future.

As a long-time Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fan, I've been eagerly anticipating "The Marvels," especially with Park Seo Joon joining the cast. It's disheartening to hear about concerns regarding the film's box office performance and the negative feedback on the film in the public eye. Despite these challenges, I'm still hopeful for the MCU's future. While disappointing box office performances can be discouraging, I believe the MCU has a track record of delivering engaging stories, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the universe evolves.

Even though I've only seen a few Marvel movies, I've noticed that people are always into them, especially the older characters. The new movie "The Marvels" seems to be all about introducing new characters and expanding the story. With these new characters, it's a whole new generation of fans and some people aren't familiar with it. But the drop in performance is concerning for the industry, and it could be because of other movies with new story line and bad reviews of the film.

Just like many, Disney had a big role in my childhood. It kept me company while entertaining me. Disney had helped me have my own aspirations and helped me exercise my creativity. A big role during my childhood indeed as it can be called the "magic" that helped me grow into the me right now. It seems that the Disney now had lost its touch and "magic“ as it can be seen on their overall performance and the publics opinions on their films and shows. There were large amounts of disappointed shown in the many opinions of people who are the audience of Disney. The company somehow ended up losing focus on quality and instead focused on pushing out many films without being meticulous of each step. It is just sad to see the Disney now as it is not the same as it was before.

As a person who isn't that involved in basketball and has the only source of info on it from highlights, I believe that the dominance of international players (e.g. Giannis Antetokounmpo) underscores the NBA's evolving landscape. Interestingly, the absence of last season's champions, the Denver Nuggets, from StubHub's top 10 list is noteworthy, though the company expects their popularity to grow throughout the season. Moreover, the fluctuating nature of these projections underscores the dynamic nature of the sport. While established teams and players hold sway, breakout performances and emerging talent can shift these trends. Overall, this article offers a glimpse into the NBA's growing popularity, driven by star-studded teams, exciting matchups, and the evolving global interest in the sport.

Hertz's decision to scale back on Tesla EVs seems practical, especially when considering the significant expenses and drawbacks associated with electric vehicles. This video provided an insightful cost-benefit analysis, shedding light on the complexities of investing in EVs. As someone not too knowledgeable about electric vehicles, it's fascinating to learn how these risks don't always translate to immediate success. This breakdown really helps me understand the challenges and considerations involved in such a shift.

Part of my childhood is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From the thrilling origin stories to the epic crossovers, each Marvel movie was something that I have looked forward to. Although I am not the biggest fan, I anticipate whenever there is a new Marvel movie. While my expectations were high for "The Marvels," it's essential to acknowledge that not every movie can replicate the success of the previous movies. The latest installment fell short of the mark for several reasons. The storyline, although ambitious, may have resonated less strongly with audiences, and the character development felt rushed compared to the meticulous attention given to earlier films. And as mentioned in the video, I also agree that maybe the film was weighed down by the high expectations set by Marvel's earlier blockbusters. Realizing that not every movie can be a ground-breaking hit and that there will inevitably be highs and lows even in a well-liked franchise is important.

I watched the NBA for the majority of my teenage years. During that time, I noticed how the league was able to sustain its popularity and even expand upon it. Given that every NBA season is genuinely exceptional and the buzz of the town, the 60% increase in ticket sales may be seen as something that was already expected. My dad and I have even attempted to purchase NBA tickets in the past, and even though they are expensive, we were shocked by the demand for them given how quickly they sell out, particularly for finals games.

Personally, I have not heard of 'The Marvels' before. However, I do know about the Avengers and even watched the End Game as well. This goes to show how MCU movies are going downhill as fewer and fewer people are interested in watching the films that they produce. I think that movie producers should be more mindful of the consumer's interest in the main characters rather than producing so many films for other characters that people do not really want to watch. With that, I think that they focused on quantity rather than the quality of the movies that are being produced.

It is known that electric vehicles are quite a big investment as they are costly but they do bring in perks which is for the long term. On Hertz, they are a care rental service, the idea of having vehicles is quite daring. I have heard that vehicles from such businesses like Hertz often end up being misused or mishandled which may lead to the vehicle being lost or damaged. With the Vehicle in danger, there would be a lot of costs linked if ever the vehicle is destroyed or lost. The idea of pulling back from EV is a smart move considering the prices of these vehicles right now.

The company Hertz was very unfamiliar to me before watching this video. But now, I know what the company is all about and the general overview of what they do in their operations. We have to admit, in some ways, EVs are sustainable in select areas of the world since their primary nature is to lessen carbon emissions that come from gasoline-powered vehicles. Yes, it may benefit a lot of consumers that Tesla had reached in terms of their market but the demand for their products in other countries is too thin-to-nothing. In the context of let's say, Tesla EVs deployed in the Southeast Asian Countries, some nations that belong in that sector do not have enough resources to suffice EVs needs. But, I think the opportunity for Tesla to partner up with Hertz is still possible, but in other ways given the possibility that Tesla finds a way for them to be relevant in their partnership terms.

  • @Yelsewu

Hertz made a wise economic decision, in my opinion, to reduce the number of electric vehicles (EVs) in their fleet in order to limit the damage caused by the allegedly exorbitant repair expenses associated with these vehicles. While encouraging the usage of electric vehicles may be the morally right thing to do, doing so will hurt the company's ability to make money.

Disney's recent movies have seen a drop in quality, which concerns fans of all ages. While the pandemic prompted changes in Disney's operations, there's a need for better decision-making in their film production to prevent wasteful spending. It's advised that Disney listens to public feedback and performance data to guide their future projects. Enhancing film quality, storylines, casting, and overall production is essential to revive audience excitement. Ignoring these issues could have long-term consequences for the company. There's a call for Disney to create impactful new intellectual properties rather than solely relying on existing ones to prevent audience fatigue.

As a Marvel fan myself, until now, I'm still watching marvel movies after phase 4, which is the End Game, even the series they made, I'm still following it, I've already watch "The Marvels" , even the movies were already released earlier than "The Marvels" like Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Spiderman No Way Home, Loki Season 1 and 2, and even more. To be honest, I really liked the films they made not because I'm a fan of them, its because the storyline , it is linked together, and it is getting hyped, that is for me, but I've noticed sometimes that the recent Marvel movies released, the performance is becoming low, unlike the previous phases like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and even more OG characters, the performance before was good, so that is why I understand why audiences/viewers doesn't like to watch Marvel movies anymore.

Due to the rise of electric vehicles and the overall growing popularity. This has given the people the idea that purchasing these types of vehicle would be more practical compared to car rentals that are being offered by businesses such as Hertz. The action of Hertz in acquiring Tesla's was the practical and right move, since they are offering the services being offered of and EV without actually having to buy one.

  • @JamiePearlyneChua

The technology for electric vehicles may one day be the norm in the car industry. Nevertheless, Hertz decided to pull back from the partnership with Tesla, the leading company manufacturing electric vehicles and intends to slow down the incorporation of electric vehicles into their services. The current market may have an increasing demand for electric vehicles; however, the high maintenance cost and the problematic battery charging time are some of the many negative factors that would take a toll on income. With that, Tesla must first lower their products' cost for car rental services to capitalize on.

Marvel movies were a big part of my childhood, especially Infinity War and End Game. However, lately, it seems the newer Marvel films aren't doing as well. There's less excitement around these movies, possibly because fans thought Endgame signaled the end of something special. It could also be that these new movies aren't meeting the high standards Marvel set. Even The Marvels seems to be struggling at the box office. After the iconic characters phased out, interest has dropped. Personally, I find myself rewatching the older movies more than seeking out the new ones. Additionally, Disney's live-action adaptations of classic animated films like Little Mermaid and Moana are creating more competition. Despite this tough phase, I'm hopeful that Marvel will make a comeback. There are still many loyal fans eagerly waiting for their next big hit.

Disney has been really a part of everyone's childhood and it was amazing all throughout. However, with the acquisition of both Marvel and Lucasfilm, there came a foreseeable change of direction regarding their take on the movies of both genres. It is disappointing and sad to witness the decline of Disney's success especially since the momentum they have had throughout the years was simply remarkable. Gone are the days when they totally relied on their writers' imagination and unique storytelling methods and were replaced with unclear directions of their franchise movies. This wouldn't be a problem if Disney hadn't bought Marvel and Lucasfilm. Both genre and their production company are good at managing their movie releases and they also live up to their fanbase's expectations.

The video provided more information about electric vehicles to someone unfamiliar with the topic at hand. With all they've been through, I believe this is one of the repercussions of relying more on technology. Cars are likely to become more expensive as technology advances, therefore Hertz's choice to scale back may be a wise one for the corporation. Given all of the variables that they will face, cutting some slack will not be detrimental. Because EVs are extremely costly, it is unlikely that everyone will buy one.

Before watching the video, I was not aware of Hertz, but now that I am, I have some information regarding the demand for EVs. I think EVs' ability to substitute combustible vehicles is not as strong, especially if we place the context in the Philippines. Maybe EVs can already be a substitute in other countries, and data may be out there to prove this point; however, we must consider the consumers' willingness to try and switch to EVs and their buying power. Going back to the issue between Hertz and Tesla EVs, I understand Hertz's decision to pull back because of the high repair cost and the impact on resale value due to the price cut. Currently, Tesla EVs do not seem to be an attractive investment for a car rental company, with the market still preferring combustible vehicles. Circumstances may still change, and decisions will eventually be made; therefore, companies should remain vigilant and flexible about what will come.

SPOILER ALERT! After the “Endgame” movie, the only Marvel movies that I was looking forward to were anything related to Spiderman; the rest did not feel as impactful as the previously released Marvel movies. It became lackluster due to losing characters whose lore developed over time. It felt like losing something that I was keeping religiously locked in a capsule, but when it spilled, I lost the excitement it provided. Another comparison may be trying to support a new game from the same developer of my favorite game; however, the new game lacked the “nostalgia” that I developed from the previous game. I am a little upset at the downfall of the MCU that I love so much; however, I do hope that an impactful movie releases to reignite the hype.

Two weeks after this video was posted, you were right, Sir John. Quite a bomb indeed. Apparently it is the lowest grossing film in all of the MCU (so far). One issue new MCU movies or modern movies in general have is that they tend to be too politically correct and woke. I am all for having some form of social commentary and themes; but if it is at the detriment of the movie's script quality then it detracts from the film. It is important to note that studios encourage producers to make them woke simply because they believe it will bring in more profits. Oversaturation and perhaps a change in times could be another reason as to why MCU films are not doing good. With so many shows and movies, it can be overwhelming to decide on which ones to watch. Many of them have also gravitated away from self-contained stories which means they expect watchers to consume other shows to understand the current show they are watching. The term "marvelization" has been spreading around the internet along with Marvel fatigure which further explains my point.

As a long-time Marvel fan, I have mixed feelings about how Marvel is handling its situation post-endgame. To be honest, the movie "The Marvels" was pretty underwhelming and I am not surprised that there was a huge drop in box office revenue for Marvel. I felt it to be fast-paced and it doesn't really show any character development for the existing Marvel Heroes. Also the a lack of character continuity with one specific character that just had their Marvel TV show that showed them in a serious matter while in the movie "The Marvels" he seemed more like a comic relief. I wasn't surprised that this movie was a little lackluster but with all the recent movies and TV shows that Marvel released, I am a little disappointed with Marvel and I hope they can bring back the character-centric movies and show character development within their new cast of Marvel heroes while also keeping the releases concise just like the previous phases. I really wish Marvel could bounce back from this and I hope they will realize that fans just want movies that captivated us in the previous phases.

Based on prior knowledge regarding the NBA, the 60% increase on ticket sales is not that big of a surprise. I know many people, including me and my family, that would try to buy tickets in order to watch any NBA game. The NBA had always had sold-outs or just a lot of ticket sales even without the added expansion, and given that people are in a stage of living after a pandemic, an increase to watch NBA live is likely to be expected. Additionally, seeing the top 10 most in-demand teams, I can say that these really are the teams to be watched, especially the Los Angeles lakers. My family and I had actually watched an NBA game of the Lakers versus New York Knicks years ago, so seeing them being top 2 in-demand currently feels really cool to know.
